Resident Evil 7 in VR. I've only played 20 minutes and it's already insane. So immersive and terrifying. It's almost gonna be a chore to get through though. Each new room I advance through is a mental challenge to not just quit out of fear :D

I'm playing NBA 2K17 regularly. Got drafted by the Raptors so I've been playing with them all season.

Finally got around to playing Fallout 4 on Xbox1. Not a big fan of the settlement feature, but I love the weapon and armor customization feature.

So I started playing Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2. (I know it's been out for a while). It's fun. Stupid fun, but fun.

It's a surprisingly very fun series. I did enjoy the first one more though.

Well, I was playing FF6, but there seems to be an error in the game on emulation where I can't learn a move to progress.

I had a couple of strokes 2 years ago, and with my right hand impaired, pretty much all I can play is RPG's, which I don't. Shining Force games, Chrono Trigger, Phantasy Star, Earthbound, Pokemon, most of the FF series, Mario RPG etc. I'm looking into a advanced joystick so that I can play some 8 bit/16 bit games.

Anyway, Yeah, I had about 20 hours in to the game when crapped the bed :/

Finished Fallout 4. Good story, but got too repetitive toward the end with repeating the same settlement chore missions.

About to start Sniper Elite 4 for Xbox One.

I'm not sure if the first one was necessarily better. I think it was so new and fresh and kind of unexpected that it felt better. The second one is actually bigger and has a lot more to do. But it's also old hat now.

I think it's cause I didn't like the new characters. But you're right, there is a lot more to do in the second one.

Finally got around to finishing the new Ratchet and Clank. It's an awesome game. So much fun once you get a few weapons and begin upgrading them. Feels like it's been a while since I've played a platformer like this. Absolutely stunning in 4k HDR.

I also finished Final Fantasy XV. I enjoyed it for the most part, but still underwhelming. Did not live up to my favorites in the series. Has me hopeful for the Final Fantasy VII remake though because I'm assuming they'll carry over some of the gameplay mechanics.

Interestingly, XV got me in the mood to try out XIV again. So last week I re-activated my old character. I only played FF14 for like 4 months and that was a few years ago. At the time, it was my first time really getting into an MMO and I loved it. I got to the level cap, had some of the best gear, and was pretty much at the end of the current content. Now it's so overwhelming to catch up though. There are expansions out, a higher level cap, but it'd be a struggle for me just to re-learn how to play my DPS character.

Once I realized I may not want to reinvest into FF14 but I was still in the mood for an MMO, I picked up Elder Scrolls Online since it was on sale and no subscription fee. I've played a little bit and I really like it but it really feels more like a single player Elder Scrolls game than an MMO. The story is interesting and the quests actually have a lot of detail instead of feeling like generic fetch quests.

So I'll probably slowly make my way through ESO and play it casually. Because starting next week most of my time to play games for the next few months will be taken up by Horizon Zero Dawn and Zelda on my Switch.

There are just far too many good games and not enough time in my life at the moment T_T.

Agree with your sentiments on FFXV, hopefully they keep the gameplay mechanics but change the magic/summon system as they are essentially useless in FFXV.

Sniper Elite 4 is my recent sleeper favorite game nobody has heard of. It's a great sniper semi-sim with fantastic level design. It's on the slow and sneaky side, but I love that.

Am I the only one here getting a Switch tonight? The launch lineup is kinda weak, but since I don't have a Wii U, this is the only way I'll be able to play the new Zelda which is getting absolutely phenomenal reviews. I can't wait!

I'm gonna wait for price drop, bug fixes and bigger library before I get one. Plus I still have a huge backlog on the PS4.

That Zelda game is the only thing that makes it even remotely appealing to me.

I'd never play it on the go, and those tiny controllers look super uncomfortable/inconvenient to me (my hands are big... so big)

I love the concept but the early reviews have been so underwhelming that I'm going to wait on it.

I'd love to play BotW, but I can't justify buying a system for only one game.

I am tempted to get a PS4 for Horizon Zero Dawn, Nioh, Bloodborne, and the Last of Us which I can't get on Xbox.

Trying to find a way to give you this complement without it sounding like I'm calling you old (and I'm failing), but i really hope to be as young at heart and in touch with popular culture as you are when I get older.

You really are an inspiration for that TIME
