The actual game has been good though. Letting the players choose their own team was a good idea, put some sort of pride on the line by doing that. Some actual defense is being played, the “drama” of LeBron and Kyrie and Durant and Westbrook being teammates again is there. Some players going at other players they clearly don’t like (Embiid).

Checking ESPN looks like the game is coming down to the wire. So there’s that.

Team LeBron won. LeBron and George looked nice as future teammates.

AD recent interview suggest he doesn't want to end up like a KG and stay loyal to long, this could be a big off season for us if pg/james do come. I'd offer everything and anything for AD (as long as Deng is attached to it to) a trio of pg/james/ad can win with scrubs unlike OKC big 3 ver. as long as we manage to keep hart/kuzma

Speaking solely for myself as a Lakers fan when we have so much young talent on the team that it's clear how good they are going to be going forward .... to just jettison all of it save maybe one .... no thank you. First PG coming was awesome. Then not enough. Have to have LBJ and PG. Now that's not enough even if we can retain potentially 4 of our own future stars and keep the team built and renewing the right way. No. No offense.

boston's been stashing their last big asset for davis. it's the league's worst kept secret--about as bad as pg and the lakers' mutual interest. they have sac's unprotected pick next year (or ours if it's 2-5 this year). i think they can trump any offer we make (they have tatum or brown to offer, too), and i think davis would probably rather join a team in the east that's already at the top.

but i agree with the sentiment/interest. if you can get those three, you sell everything.

Davis isn't old and theres no guarantee's Ingram, Ball or even Kuz would ever reach AD lvl of production, we saw what he did to us 1st hand even after Randle almost taking him out the game he still killed us lol....I would 1st try to keep one of ball/ingram but push comes to shove and NOP says both, I'll give them both.

george by himself is enough for me; i just don't think it's enough for him. i'll be glad if i'm wrong. the fan in me would love to keep all our guys and just add george. but we've already punted that with our most recent trade--if the plan were just george, you'd rather have kept clarkson and nance.

lots of tea leaves indicating that no star is walking here on his own. two years ago, clarkson and russell were guys nobody wanted to trade. now it's ball, ingram, and kuzma. i'm guessing within two years, that will change, too.

i've been surprised at how little players seem to care about how both boston and houston treat their players. yet both of those teams continually attract the big names. it's clear that what would matter to me doesn't matter to these guys.

then again, the league seems miffed about the clips' treatment of blake griffin? ok, whatevs.
