Kh ..... just teasing ..... but when the 3rd grade teacher asked everyone what they wanted to be when they grew up .... did you raise your hand and say a devil's advocate? Even at an early age you knew?

I know I know .... I raised mine and said a 3/4 full glass .....(of beer)

If Presti offers PG for that Nets pick, I might start to sweat a bit on the #2018plan.

I dunno, LeBron is all about trading up when the car is starting to break down. They’d have PG and Love (Thomas would have to walk), but their aging, overpaid supporting cast might not be as attractive as our youth in Lonzo, Kuz, Ingram, Hart, etc. LeBron and PG might go eh, these tires are bald, the cupboard is empty, let’s go to LA and play with these kids with brand new tread. I don’t see OKC trading PG to Cleveland anyway (or at probably), especially not for a Nets pick that isn’t looking as good as it might have been assumed to be to start the season.

I listened to Pincus’ podcast this morning on that. He makes a good point, Clarkson is a really nice scorer to have off the bench on a relatively decent contract compared to what was given out the sunmer he took his deal. We’d absolutely miss his scoring if we didn’t replace it though, he’s one of our only 3 point shooters and consistent scorers that know their role. Some of the trade options he threw out there weren’t bad either. I still think Nance is an enticing trade option for the same reason, production well above his contract, but that’s a reason I wouldn’t trade him if we are trading Randle. Nance is a cheap backup, and if he’s healthy he’s very valuable to a team trying to keep payroll low.

I’ve said all along we would have no problem finding a team willing to take on JC. He’s dumb as a rock but his scoring vs his salary is a good deal in today’s NBA climate. We would miss his scoring desperately though.

    With him whom?

And like any other unsupported charge this is out there now. F****** writers and their sources. Meanwhile his character and play as a teammate is now in question out there?

"Some of Randle’s teammates have reportedly grown weary of his play this season, which could further advance trade talks sooner rather than later."

If we had to trade one of the 3 guys mentioned, it would be JC. Granted I agree with @Weezy that we would miss his scoring off the bench or at least threat of scoring. It would have to depend on what we get back but after listening to part of Eric Pincus' Podcast word around the league is that JC garns the most interest and if so we should get something in return that isn't bad but also doesn't break the bank.

Ex: I love the trade idea of sending JC to Detroit for Avery Bradley. But I doubt that happens.

That was my favorite as well, because because Bradley is the sort of player that if we struck out in the 2 stars plan, I’d be interested in keeping. He’s the sort of solid signing we’d be smart to make for the right price because he’s a 2 way player. But I agree with you, no clue why Detroit does that since they are a playoff team, unless I guess it’s because they get a guy with comparable stats for this year and next instead of losing Bradley for nothing.

That's simply referring to the garbage Frank Isola article earlier this week. Isola "connected dots" to say teammate's are weary of Randle. There's been no report of this anywhere else.

    Per Shams at Yahoo! Sports:

Looks like PG13 and/or Boogie aint bailing out the Kang any time soon... hopefully till this summer of course, here on the Lakeshow.

DeAndre could be Cavs bound if the Clips are open to taking TT. On a side note, when did Khloe Kardashian become the Clips new GM?

Trading Nance , unless he's part of a package for a max player , would make little sense to me ????

Jordan would give Cleveland that rim protector that they sorely need. Even hits half of his free throws now. James will have to even work harder to get to the Finals. Raps look legit.

LOL DJ could have had it cush playing in Dallas for a great owner like Cuban but came back to the dark side and CP2's disapproving glares. Now he could get those same glares from LBJ who's leaving at the end of the season anyway ....in frigid Cleveland.
