So ESPNLA Radio was talking today about Gordon Hayward hinting in his exit interview that he is leaving Utah.

Is he a lock for the C Bags, or do we have a shot?

If we get pg13 1st then we have a better shot but will still be way behind cbags, if they get #1 pick, plus stevens and possibly trading for another star with their assets we got very little appeal...but either way if he did go cbag way, it'll at least weaken Utah

I would say we have a 0.00000000000000000000001% chance at him.

If Magic and Rob can convince him that he's just the first step to glory, then there's a chance but I mean... why would he trust that? Why would he trust the Lakers when Boston is so ready made? Or when Utah is fairly close to being competitive?...

Hayward has been a secret favorite of mine for a while, but I'd be willing to bet my pinky toes that we're not on his map.

It's like saying DLo has a chance at becoming an All Star

Signing a Hayward in FA would be better than trading assets for PG. He addresses multiple needs, and would become a star overnight with the additional exposure.

It's not every day a decent light skinned dude plays for the Lakers. amirite?

Getting Hayward for Vet Min would be even better.

Yes. Similar to how one signs Hayward in the first place.

Never said I was one. All you need to be is a knowledgeable fan to know DLo ain't it!

I'm in the camp of not trading for PG13 and waiting for him to sign as an FA.

If a trade was to be made then I can live with a DLo, JR, and one of Deng or Moz.

What's your problem with Russell for cryin' out loud?? How about Clarkson, JR and one of Deng or Moz instead? Not saying it could get it done, but you are so eager to make Russell disappear. Crazy.

I don't think Pacers would want JC.

DLo isn't the type of player or person you rebuild the Lakers with. JR is obvious, the Lakers shouldn't commit big money to him. He's got a low bball IQ.

He can freaking shoot the ball and we don't have 3 point threats beyond him as it is. (leaving BI out for now though I believe he will become one) (good to have more than one clearly) At his age, assuming his head matures, he has all kinds of promise. That was not a bad pick at all at the 2 spot. Those don't grow on trees.

Edit. I forgot this lunacy you were honking yesterday:

"KP for DLo + JR + BI"

Just turn BI into a PF:Noddingyes: get him to hang out with Boris Diaw who was svelte when he started.
