Does Rob have a religious story for this signing?

Rob will never live down that. Don't get me wrong. I am religious. I pray and I say God all day long. But the timing of that was so hilarious. It just seemed like the wrong setting. It's a free agent signing, not turning a village that had dirt water into purified water. Rob was trying to be accommodating but it sounded funny and the fact that KCP just got popped for doing what he was doing, looked a little condescending. I don't know if that's the right word but it was just bad setting and timing. But the comedy out of it is worth it.

mgmt. would be better served to try and unload deng or jc for Wade. Wade isnt' signing here if he's bought out, he's ring chasing for sure

I'd love to sign him, but somehow I doubt it.

If you're Chicago, don't you prefer just letting him go instead of taking on an even longer, worse contract? I'd just buy him out and let him sign in Cleveland with his buddy.

You do have a point. I feel Randle and Clarkson is the only way they'd listen you would think right? As far as unloading Deng on them.

i'd definitely kick the tires here. i don't like wade, and i don't think he's a particularly good player anymore. that said, expiring and a chance to get in good with the super friends behind the scenes.

why would chicago do it? they're going to have to get to the salary floor, and clarkson isn't a bad player. i'd throw in a 2nd rounder or two. i think the key would be getting wade to sign on for it. it would be good for chicago to help him get where he'd like to be, for PR/agent relations purposes.

After our recent second round selections, I'm becoming increasingly less happy about the idea of trading second round picks.

Very interesting year to watch and see what happens. Hopefully the kids ball out, increase their value, and make this a really tough decision.

I wonder if wed consider Allen with the exception or we think someone will get released/bought out eventually.

    Tony Allen?
I'd like him as another vet similar to Brewer but I'd imagine he'd be ring chasing.

has he fallen off so far that it makes sense no one has offered him a contract?

    too high of expectations?

did he pull a Kaepernick or something? I'm really surprised by this. Maybe he's stuck on being a starter and not ready to be a backup yet, and that's an issue. He has had injuries lately right?

I see a lot of teams investing in younger players than vets this offseason.

investing in or saving money on?

but as much as i like tony allen, he doesn't fit with what management claims we're trying to do.

of course, neither did rondo or rose, so...who the hell knows?
