Boogie said he will return for training camp. He said he is already working out without restrictions right now. Said he uses a new method and since his achilles didn't shorten his leg, he has great range of motion already.

    https://theundefeated.com/features/...ns-im-shooting-to-be-ready-for-training-camp/

Achilles injuries don't take that long anymore these days with advanced medical science and thearpy. Kobe returned pretty early in the season and he was hurt early April. Kobe needed 8 months I think.

Boogie got hurt in January. 8 months makes is September. I guarantee you that he will be on the court in 2018. Whether he is in shape is a different story.

If he is ready for training camp, it's hard to imagine that he won't play in November at the very latest without setbacks.

    Yeah. I don't buy it.

He can try to do that, but there's no reason to, especially with the Warriors.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

At this point, GS was going to win a title with or without him.

All I know is the other 29 teams should just get ready for the following season (2019-2020) to strike. By then Boogie is gone, so they'll be back down to a big 4 (it sounds ridiculous even saying this, I know) and hopefully human nature sits in and they become complacent and bored and drop the ball somehow, which will leave a window open. I mean isn't this what kind of happened with us circa 1999-2005? Internal drama started to bubble itself up, injuries happened and the next thing you know we lost to the Pistons and that ended our dynasty.

I disagree with waiting until the following season. Houston went all in and was a CP3 injury away from upsetting the eventual champs. We have a short window with an aging Lebron. Maybe Boogie doesn't come back to be impactful, maybe KD busts an ankle. Suddenly they are beatable.

I understand taking it easy if you're a team like Denver but we're not.

Any team with LeBron on it has a shot to win a title. I'm not punting on this season and I don't think the Lakers are either.

It'll take an injury probably, but the Warriors looked vulnerable against Houston. Until I see Boogie on the court looking like his old self, I don't think this changes my mentality at all. We're going after them.

Stephen A going off on how people are complaining about this on afternoon First Take, fans, NBA players, etc. Says it’s nothing like the Durant singing, the Warriors told him to expect like 5-7 shots per game, he won’t be ready until forever, he won’t be the same player because he’s huge and even Kobe wasn’t at his size, blah blah blah. Really funny to see him defend Cousins and the Warriors on this one.

I like how Stein's been hard at work trying to play the victim card for Boogie and pin this "f*** all y'all for not giving me my money!" decision on everyone else. Yet at the same time, he's got this gem:

That's interesting. Looks like after signing Bron, Lakers FO went brain dead...
It can easily be BS though. So many contradictory reports surrounding the Lakers. It's what sells i guess.

I'm not sure what it's such a big deal basketball wise ( I understand the others aspects) .

He will be such a D liability when he comes back and only playable against the best teams 2nd units

That wasn't an option given to us. That was a last ditch with GS after he spurned the Pelicans and tried to get us and others to give him $15 million. Bottom line, he's going to be recovering from one of the most severe injuries imaginable to a basketball player this year. For GS it's no risk because they can win it all without him essentially. For us to commit $15 million would have been an enormous risk and not worth it.

Cool, understood Kenzo. Just glad the record is now set straight with this BS that Cousins' camp is throwing out there to make us look bad. Screw him too just like PG.
