Looks like the same Russell to me. He's a very gifted and talented scorer and with more opportunities is gonna put up a lot of points.

The things I question are his willingness to play defense and his leadership. Both are still questions for me.

Also we got that Kuzma guy with the pick we got for D'Angelo so is no way, shape, or form do I regret it.

Man. I was thinking that too. They're off to a much better start than I anticipated.

wish i was there to give him a standing O

don't care what anyone says. i still hate that we traded him and unless we get PG or kuzma becomes a superstar in the next couple of years i won't be getting over it anytime soon

Russell's last shot in Staples Center in a Lakers jersey was a game winner for us. Gonna suck to watch this game tonight and have the thoughts come back into my mind..... what could have been.

Swaggy was a character. The antithesis of Kobe Bryant that helped keep us entertained in the transition.

I am both surprised and not surprised to see that tweet from him.

He was alright. Looks more or less the same but with more opportunity.

Last night was difficult to watch I’m not gonna lie seeing D’Angelo play for the opposition.

Not because I regret the trade (I do not), but because it’s clear watching the guy play he has so much talent and skill.

He had all the tools to be that next superstar for the Lakers and it just never came to fruition.

Maybe it’ll happen for him in Brooklyn, but it’s just unfortunate that he didn’t become what a lot of us including myself had envisioned him becoming for the Lakers.

He's such a talented scorer at times, but man I don't miss the me first attitude and the inconsistency. I didn't love seeing him again actually. While I didn't like the trade initially, now I am ecstatic that we made it. I don't see DLO growing much in terms of his mentality or maturity. Lopez stuck it to his former team last night and was incredible, plus the cap space flexibility he brings . . . and getting Kuzma was the gift that keeps on giving. He's a keeper. The FO made the right move.

Simple fact: Lopez / Kuzma >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> DLo / Moz

Not even taking contracts into this, which makes it even more lopsided.

You guys complain about seeing him play for the opponent but I hated seeing him as a Laker knowing that we took him over Porzingis hahaha

FYI Porzingis is playing better than even Towns this season

Do not miss the guy. Plays the same, careless with the ball, has that look to his game like he’s not going 100% at any point. Don’t care if Lonzo can’t shoot, we traded up.

I didn't like the trade at first. Actually I hated it. But now, seeing how good Kuzma is makes it worth it, not to mention Slomo's skill in the post. And with drafting Zo, we really do have a culture change in LA. It sucked seeing Dangelo go, but it had to happen. I see it now.

For the 100377833 time, we would have Kuzma anyways :p

He was extremely inefficient. I thought Lin would have been able to really help him. That went out the window with his season ending injury.

And for the 100377833 time no way is that a certainty. BK brought him in for a workout. WTF.
