That's a 35 win team. 40 if we are lucky.

People were hoping for a franchise guy in that draft after KAT? I wasn't. There haven't been many franchise guys outside KAT taken in the top 10 this decade.

I actually think waiting on trading Russell (barring some ridiculous offer) is the best move. I think Lonzo does it best, but Fox could also help Russell look great by taking primary ball handling duties away from him and allowing Russell to play a more natural game at SG. Boost that trade value and show the kid's talents off, that way if/when we trade some of these kids they look that much better and we get better value.

that's a 28-win team. top five pick to philly next year. this team needs some useful veteran players (read: not mozdeng).

I'm that high on Ball. Plus another year of experience.

Anyways I expect some trades this summer that will help us.

Definitely, I think there's a very high likely hood JR and JC will be gone.

With Russ' underrated passing and Ball's ability to move the ball (if we draft him) that kind of back court needs to be given a chance within Luke's offense. I think Russ will have benefit over time with Ball.

As would I, but there is no chance Philly gives us Simmons for essentially Ball.

If the Lakers draft ball, thats a clear indicator that the Lakers have given up on Russell as a PG and trying him at SG.

That also means that if Russell can't elevate his game to a new level next season, he will be gone after that.

Trade Russell now and I think you're going to get pennies on the dollar. Wait and let him continue to improve and increase his value unless the opportunity to use him in a reasonable deal to bring in Butler or George arises.

Agreed completely. I'm not trading him for fun.

I think Ball or Fox or even Fultz will help D'Angelo's game a lot. Why rush to trade him now when he could be worth twice as much in February?

 I'm reminded of Sports Science and expected Magic Johnson. Goddamn, it was not as good as we expected. Come to think of it, BI was also in sports science. Now, just saw Lonzo in there. Maybe the scouting department just like to watch ESPN for their lottery picks lol

Agree. Definitely underrated and Ball being here will definitely benefit Russ.
