    Brewer managed to make a career for himself that lasted much longer than i anticipated. I can't even hate on the guy at this point.

    Say what you will about Brewer the player but he is saying all the right things. He is turning 31 in a couple weeks and in his 10th NBA season - along with winning 2 titles in college - so he has experience on his side. He is really durable having missed only 3 games the last 5 seasons, so he can impart good tips on staying healthy and keeping your body right. He's also on his 4th team the last 5 seasons, so he understands he is a journeyman and humbled by it. I think he understands his role this season and next is going to be more of a mentor and locker room leader than anything else. The expectations on the court are limited. He is what he is and he's owning it.
