I don't know why the Lakers took a low first rounder and a bum who makes even more than Lou.

Anyway, now Mozgov and Deng have a third guy to play cards during the game on the bench.

Yeah I'm not expecting much. He could be a nice energy guy in practice, he's always had energy/effort. He bought time on the floor when he had young athleticism a few years ago, but even then he was not a good offensive player. With the way the game is played now, he is a huge liability since he can't make baskets

barbershop take: He's won an every level, NCAA tourney MVP, great first move Magic he only takes winners

Houston was over the cap. We had to take on Brewer to match salaries.

Keeping Lou on this team makes no sense for us or Lou. We're lucky to get a first rounder for him without taking on a long-term contract. Brewer's contract ends in 2018, the offseason when Paul George and Cousins will be available in FA, so it's not going to kill our long term plans.

He bricks open 3s like no other and is flying/flopping all over the court on his unbalanced base .

There have been so many scrubs discrediting the Lakers uniform in the latest 4 seasons , I guess one more isn't a tragedy ... if he isn't waived .

Meh on Brewer. Team tried to do right by Lou by sending him where he wanted to go and I get that. Hoping we are able to use the pick to either draft someone or trade it for someone who can help.

I don't expect much out of Brewer.

He has the 19th best DRPM at SF in the NBA this season. Both that and his total RPM are better than Deng's...just saying. He may contribute on defense, and he sounds like a good teammate.

I forgot about this... the dude is good in my book. He, Josh Smith and Jason Terry destroyed the Clippers back in 2015. WITHOUT Harden. Respect.

Beating Clippers in the playoffs is not a big deal. They choke regularly. Chris Paul might be the biggest choker in the NBA right now among the superstars.

Never been so unexcited about an incoming player from a trade. I don't expect him to play more than garbage time minutes.

I'm honestly okay with the late first rounder, but I wish we could've found a way to get it done without taking on Brewer or his salary.

    Via Mark Berman....

Corey Brewer said: "I can talk to the young guys and try to help them. Brandon Ingram is going to be a really good player. So hopefully I can take him under my wing, help him develop and be one of the best"

Sounds like the veteran leader we've been seeking. Luol Deng, you are officially useless to us.

"I can show them how to never reach your full potential, and how to become an NBA veteran no one looks up to. "

:Noddingyes::Crazyartest::Kareemlook::Randallconfused: Why should we listen to you again? :KobeConfused:

Your seat is over there at the end of the bench. Please celebrate when we make a good play. Oh, and can you dance? :Madsendance:

I don't know. Ten years, $50M, 40 playoff games, and 1 ring. Not bad.

Brewer will teach Ingram how to shoot lol.

If they go to a shooting session together, they might build a skyscraper in record time. :Crazyartest:
