Good hustle by Brewer tonight as always. I wish some of his energy would rub off on some of the young guys.

Sadly they have been more energetic with Nwaba and Brewer around...

Actually I thought it did rub off on Clarkson who had a killer game. Those two had a good connection especially with that lob Jordan threw Brewer on the break for one of his 8 assists. That was fun stuff!

    Post Game Wisdom:

Brewer: "They have to play hard. No matter what's going on, you have to sacrifice for each other. Right now we're all on different pages, and when you're a young team, you kind of do your own thing. It's not fun to lose by 30 like this. We got to put it together and try to close out the year on a good note. if you're going to get beat, you can't get beat like this."

Brewer: "If you're going to be the future of the Lakers, you've got to give the fans something to look forward to."

    Loved his quotes...

he also said that if the young lakers want to stick around, they should start learning how to deal with adversity instead of going through the motions.

We need to put Brewer on the keep list. These are the type players to get us going the right direction. People that can think for themselves and speak out. Not afraid to say what needs to be said. Luke is hamstrung with the wrong attitude players. Bringing it one game ever so often sucks. Come play every night or get out. Magic & Co. do your thing. Get us some players with heart. Brewer, Zu, Ingram, Black, Nance. Others that show they can play more than two games in a row without needing a week off will be considered. Effort and heart, a coach can work with that. These on again off again players suck the life out of everyone.

Come on, go easy on Deng. At his age, dementia might be setting in.

I haven't forgotten we have him, he quickly became one of my favorite players last season. Loved his hustle, loved how his teammates seem to become fast friends with him.

His exit interview was also so on point. Great dude and just hustles like crazy out there. If we can sign him back after next year on the real cheap I would like that.

Yeah, I would have loved to have Ariza back, but he's Ariza-lite and if he came cheap I'd keep him.

He was always in the ear of our young guys when we traded for him and I hope he continues it with this new crop of kids we drafted.

Always low key liked Brewer as well... I've seen him single handily be a big factor on his team making a comeback or an impact on the floor in general
with his all around skill. Great salary too. This dude can help someone take on the Warriors in a playoff hunt. Funny thing is Rockets,Spurs,Cavs could use him now.

Corey really would be a great player to put next to Lonzo. All Corey wants to do is run and cut.
