Luke smartened up and went with the hot hands down the stretch. Glad he did, but it begs the question, why has he gone away from that at times even recently (Clippers game for example)? It's obviously working and it has pretty much all year. Got to keep Randle in the game if he's playing well down the stretch. Same for Clarkson. Same for Kuz.

I do think we need to see Ball in the games late. Not only because he's one of our better players, but the kid needs the time on the floor. He made the right call in the Philly game. He deserves to be rewarded for that.

Hopefully he now realizes what needs to be done. And yes to the shooting coach idea. What is Nash doing these days?

He was a part-time consultant for them. I am not sure if he is still helping them, but he would be an excellent coach. Man, we used to have Hodges, he was an incredible shooter.

^Second the motion on Hodges... Walton however seems keen on hiring ex-Arizona players.

I was 100% in on Luke originally. Sorry, but every game he has 5-20mpg that are just Wtf lineups. I’d bet money he’s gone before we compete again.

i didn't really see switches killing the lakers, at least not in the second half. the knicks capitalized on the fact that we can't afford to play our shotblockers. maybe that's switch-related, or maybe it's simply footspeed related.

i saw 2 instances late 4th where ball got stuck under basket against mcd n gave 2 easy layups, that was probably switching on off ball probably being late on the switch

It wasn't a switch actually. He was supposed to be guarding McDermott and got beat inside multiple times because he was getting stuck on screens.

It was the opposite of switching.

Why did Lonzo play like 9 minutes in a row to end the game while being injured ?

We have been (very) effective defensively on switches this season except for the Rockets game ( who have 3 players killing switches) and against the Floppers

He lost me at 44-34 in our favor ... He sat Julius , JC and Kuz to bring back his weak arse 1st unit instead of trying to get a 15+ ish lead .

The starters came in and I told my son, we are going to lose our 10 point lead entirely and we did exactly that and went down by one, even. Man, the starters drive me insane most of the time.
