I agree all the way with you LVBD. The one reason I am not ripping Luke last night was that for the first time I thought Randle should get pulled when he did because he was turning the ball over and not playing well at that moment. However, unfortunately, Nance had a turnover of his own, Ball turned the ball over, Ingram turned the ball over, etc. They just all collectively melted down last night and for once I felt like it was the kids just stumbling regardless of lineup. They just didn't have it down the stretch. To me, the fourth quarter was just everyone falling apart, one of those games. This doesn't absolve Walton for his terrible lineups and bad coaching including the starters who just seem totally clueless and dig us a double digit hole every single game over and over.

We need a change in the starting 5, LJ. Badly. And Randle needs more mins.

This starting lineup has to change, it has to. The poor bench is being asked to dig this team out of double-digit deficits every single game, and they are doing it, but it isn’t fair. You can’t bench Ball, he has to learn and he’s our best PG by miles regardless of his faults. I wouldn’t bench KCP because I like JC in his bench role, and he’s our best guard defender. I don’t bench Ingram because his scoring is really coming along, he’s becoming consistent. That leaves Nance and Lopez. I bench Nance for Randle or Kuzma. Randle is instant offense off the bench, it’s probably time to see if he’s instant offense with the starters. Lopez, I’m stumped on, he’s good some night, and friggin awful others. We can’t start Nance at C though, Zu and Bogut aren’t better than him, we’re kind of stuck. So it seems the only thing to do is start Randle, or go back to starting Kuzma, except don’t pull him out of the game when he’s on fire 6 mins into the game.

When does Luke realize the starters need a change? This reminds me so much of last year where our starters go down big and our once-the-#1-bench had to claw us back into the game. Except we don't have a Lou that could get the other team in foul trouble or be capable of dropping 40 on any night.

Luke has a few too many Byron-esque moments, it hurts to watch.
Our defense is slipping and our offense hasn't been better than #28 out of 30. On top of that a tough month in terms of opponents.... going to be one long December fellas.

Someone here has to have some sort of pull, get the message to Luke Walton.... change the freaking starting lineup, it hasn’t done well at all... get randle more minutes who is always having to give us that spark of energy cause the starting unit can’t

Luke is trying to cut out turnovers (Lakers are dead last in the league). Hope it helps.

Junior high tactics. Do better Luke. You aren’t coaching JV basketball. This is Boron stuff. Looking more and more like an assistant coach every day.

Maybe implementing a solid offensive system will cut down the turnovers...

I totally understand why fans are down on Luke. But just like we're trying to give our rookies and youth a chance, I don't think we can judge Luke until he fails a roster that does have some stars. This is Luke's 2nd year as a head coach and he has a roster that has been shoe-strung with MozDeng for the majority of it. If we're struggling mightily with Brony and George, then sure, coaching is something we should look at. But a 2nd year coach with the 3rd youngest team and nearly 20% of your cap sitting at home, having that team play top 10 defense (with a quarter of the season in the bag) and not getting blown out on a nightly basis. I'll take it....and how anybody compares that to B.Scott's head coaching is suspect.

28th in offensive rating...that's on the coach.
2nd to last in turnover %age....maybe that's on youth and leading the league in PACE played.
Dead last in free throw %age....sorry, that's not on the coach at all.

It's their rotation management that makes me compare them. Like rolling out with Bogut, BroLo and Brewer at the same time. Only time you should ever consider that is if they were all in their primes.

Yes, Puke seems to have a man crush for some players with no logical reason or incentive to play them.

The thing is his current coaching is impacting whether we'll have a serious shot at some stars or not .

Each major mistake he made and will make regarding lineups/adjustments will keep us away further and further from the much needed 35 wins total

0-4 since Luke re-inserted Nance in the starting lineup.

It’s the god awful rotations that has got me all anti-lukish.... his insufferable man crush on nance has me mystified, and randle getting less than 20 mins of Pt is baffling considering he does well every single time is our best defender and spark of defense
