I know it is just one game, but the truth is, Luke is average at best. Magic and Pelinka didn't hire him. The have given unwavering support, but the time is gonna come when they have to decide if he's the right guy going forward.

Personally, I'd hire Mark "hand down, man down" Jackson out of who is available.

Might sound crazy, but twiggy Brandon Ingram would be a better fit at the small ball five than Kuz. We have a major deficit at the backup center position.

If kuz continues to play center once lipstick mo comes back, I might have a heart attack.

Not Luke's worst game but not his best. He needs to have better rotations. Also, one of LeBron or Rondo needs to be on the court at all times.

Starting Hart and giving Moe gradually escalating minutes once he is healthy, and Svi some of KCP's minutes would go a long way to making us look a lot better out there. Oh .... and Zubac finally stepping the hell up in his 3rd year so that Luke's not afraid to put him in the damn game when we're getting worked by bigger players and McGee is getting a breather.

Everyone's erupting after one game, where we normally lose regardless no matter what team we have, where Collins and Staukus turned into Mutumbo and Reggie.

I do however agree that's I never want to see Kuz at center, ever.

I'm really hot about our defense last night...giving up close to 130pts...da f***?

Luke is going to have a magnifying glass on him this season and unfortunately for him it's always sunny in LA...

The burning question is why was our D so bad when that's all we emphasized during training camp? Portland isn't even that lit of an offense to make us look that bad.

It's early and the team clearly has to learn each other still....but a month from now, the scrutiny is going to heat up and hopefully Luke figures out a way to have his critics chill.

Houston is all 3 and no D...so seeing how the Blazers scorched us from there last night, I'm hoping Luke sheds a lens on that and we play magnificent perimeter defense Sat. night, otherwise it's going to be a flame inducing Sunday for him.

    Alright, I need a cold shower...who's coming? @ZenMaster?

I agree Vash. We seem to have a real vulnerability to three point shooting, often leaving guys wide open out there. It was apparent in the preseason against Denver and it was on display last night. Not sure what is up with that but it needs to be addressed if we want to win games.

We also allow penetration way too easy with no one there to protect the rim.

Idk how much he has left in him but I'd like Tyson Chandler right now. We need a Rondo-like talker out there defensively.

    I'm still 100% behind Luke.

When we win things are great, when we lose Luke isn't doing things right. When there continues to be roster turnover like there has been the last few years things are going to take time.

Portland is a good opposite of this they have had the same team for the most part for a few years now.

Not gonna give up on Luke 1 game into the season...but he needs to figure out this rotation quickly.

It's going to be a challenge all year...May have to get Svi and Wagner (when he's healthy) some time on the court as both can shoot and stretch the floor for us. Wagner definitely needs to be our back up 5 so Kuz can slide to his more natural position at 4.
