his perimeter shooting and ft shooting go hand in hand, if one isn't fixed neither will the other also would help him if he had a mid-range gm, at this pt his floater also looks like garbage like he never does it in his life.

He actually practices the floater as the team warms up just before games. The problem is he’s practicing them incorrectly. He does a lot of standstill shots in the floater range, when they should have him moving towards the basket to simulate gameplay.

i see luke called out our 2 #2s for lacking passion, why dont he call himself not putting them in a better position/system to succeed?

Props to Luke. He called out his young leaders and they responded in a demonstrative manner. BI had his season high in points and Zo was aggressive all night and shot well. Great stuff tonight and he inspired these guys to step it up.

He’s the coach for the next 20 years, so we better get used to it.

Injuries, even to your star players, happen in the NBA.

Still that's no excuse to get rolled on by a team that's been struggling this year and had no point guards on the active roster.

A competitive loss is fine. Ref douchebaggery aside, a lethargic blowout loss isn't fine. That's on you, Coach. You and your guys adjusted somewhat and got it to within 10 after halftime, but once they adjusted, we didn't.

Something tells me, this won't age well.

Yeah we didn't do a good job at all on heavily focusing on Mitchell... Trap him ,don't let Ingles go off too , others Jazz players can't create .

The defensive game plan was way too much conservative given the opponent limitations

Somebody should create a " FIRE JESSE MERMUYS" thread since he's in charge of our putrid offense.

    He's the main problem

Head coaches usually take the bullet because his assistant coaches are essentially his responsibility.

Yeah, umm, some of us knew that Luke doesn't make very many in game adjustments

    That's not surprising

At this point of his tenure, he is looking like manna from heathen and not heaven.

he's getting harder to defend with showings like last night. We played a team with no point guards, and they mopped the floor with us. Really no excuses.

Thing is teams don't usually like changing their strategy for a regular season game ... and as fans we treated this game as an important one while it was probably just another game in January for the coaching staff ...

should we start the game as if we really don't care about the outcome?
