I'd like that lineup more due to Hart D and shooting....Kuz scoring is better served off the bench

He came to play with young legs so he could pace himself. I don’t think this is anything new.

And because others did it before him, we as fans should also be happy, right? While we are losing games in a big part due to non existent defense, we should also praise him for his legendary ability to preserve energy, yeah that makes a lot of sense from a LAKERS fan's perspective

I’m a Laker fan and a LeBron fan. I probably just happen to know more about LeBron’s career than most other fans. I’ve been watching since the Magic Johnson days .

You've been watching Lebron since the Magic Johnson days?
    :KobeConfused:
I know what you meant so I'm kidding there, but you're really not giving credit to the fans on this site. A lot of us watch A LOT of other teams and watching Lebron is not new to us. The question remains, why should we be satisfied with what he did before LA? We have a history of greats that put it all on the line every night. It's not that we don't understand what Lebron is doing, but there isn't much room for error to even get to the playoffs. You can pace yourself when the team is winning and in the playoff picture, but we're digging ourselves a deep hole and we expect him to live up to his reputation. There's no point in saving energy for the postseason if you don't make it there.

I'm not a Lebron hater and don't expect him to go full throttle each regular season game, but I expect a lot more than what he showed last night. He is not blameless in our disappointing start.

    Oops lol, appreciate the understanding

I probably just assume others watch primarily their team only and shouldn’t.

Why he continually goes to small ball lineups is asinine.

That unit has to be extremely good on BOTH ends of the court. Not only does the team struggle to defend and rebound inside, the offense is stagnant without an interior presence, not to mention, we're not the best outside shooters to play small ball.

Enough is enough Luke, fix the defense, stop playing small ball, and get back to playing normal basketball. Our most effective sets have come from basic pick and rolls, but you're out there running weaves and nonsense.

when I saw Hart defending Ibaka in the post in back to back possession, already downed 20+ in 1st quarter...

    my thought: wtf Luke??

I say the next 6 games are all winnable, but with the way this team playing defense. We'll be lucky going 3-3.

Now that we know that Magic Johnson is not going to fire Luke, I take Magic at his word. However being that Magic was associated with Pat Riley for so long, If we are ten wins under .500 by all star game, I see this famous scene of art being imitated in real life with Richard Jefferson as the ho...
Magic will give Luke an otter he can't reuse.

He needs to implement some half-court sets or we're not going to see anything change anytime soon.

I also think playing Hart Stephenson AND KCP together is ridiculous. We need to play Beasley instead of KCP or Stephenson IMO...or just stop playing THREE SG's together!!!

Magic actually said Luke would finish “the year”, so he actually has an even sooner out if he wants to get crafty because of semantics. There’s only 2 months left in this “year”.

Hart should move back to the starting lineup. Kuz should go to the bench, IMO. Either that or Ingram. But Ingram and Hart help cover for Lebron's lack of D. Rondo, KCP, Lance and Chandler will cover for Kuz's lack of D.
