Haha, he'll be a great locker room guy too for the rest of the year.
Honestly, he might be okay off the bench spacing the floor. I'm sure he remembers what that was like with Phoenix pushing the pace as well.
A big that can shoot outside or at least before he comes on board as a Laker...? Sure why not. I'd rather had kept Nance with his physicality.
We could really use his shooting.
...let's see if Frye still has it. Then again, I won't be muttering for Nance to take the open shot.
meh...trade him to a contender for a 2nd rder
Fine with it. Our defense will suffer, but we’ve got a backup C that can shoot threes now. I’m sure he’s not thrilled to go from a Finals team to this, but that’s the NBA.
Stretch 5; servicable. And somebody made a good point; maybe well he is here, can mentor Bryant.
You want our FT% to go up? He can help. Too bad he won't be shooting very many. Still, awesome trade, welcome to the team! He certainly does not make us any worse. His goodbye to Cleveland video was funny; he does not seem to mind coming to LA. But I don't think he is going to stay very long.
Was once represented by Rob and played with Luke at Arizona.
CLE looked like misery.
True, but Frye was one of the only players that seemed unaffected by it all. He seemed super comfortable in his role there and was key off the bench to their success.
Is Channing a complete turnstile or does he play smart enough and gets around well enough still to not kill us on defense when he is in?
