They're saying they probably can't even get a low first rounder for him at this point. I'm just saying if it costs us nothing, why not?

Rumor is he can be had for a 2nd rounder. I'd offer them a heavily protected 2nd round pick.

I also at this point wouldn't start ruling out using Lopez to acquire a disgruntled star. I know we need his 20 million off the books, but if we can find a 3rd tier level guy with Lopez's money, it might be worth it to make sure we draw in the big fish in FA.

There's a couple things that we can speculate on. He's hurt and not saying anything cause he's in a contract year.

Or we're purposefully limiting his minutes in order to prevent further injury (or preemptively limiting a risk of injury) in order to move him once Dec. 15 comes around and trade season starts.

If OKC keeps struggling, you have to get Presti to trade PG for something rather than run the risk of having Durant2.0 happen.

We should also be monitoring the Pel's pulse, cause Boogie is playing like the center we want BLo to be. Boogie alone as our star doesn't really help. But Boogie as a complementary star makes us competitive for sure. And in the right environment, I don't think this guy is a cancer.

I don’t know what Brooks problem is and I’m beginning to not care. I know we aren’t catering to his strengths but the guy needs to contribute in other ways. Another month or two of this kind of pitiful performance and he’s going to start getting Deng level hate from me.

All im thinking is Lopez salary goes towards an All-Star. Or a DAMN near one lol. That alone makes me feel good. Plus anything positive he gives us is a bonus.

Knowing hes not part of the future makes me be like this towards him lol. We got Kuz,im happy.

He still could be part of the future. The way he's playing he won't be worth much in FA. We could end up retaining him for the Room Exception or hell even less.

Every team needs a big man. He's more talented than most even if he's playing like absolute crap right now.

Is there a taller Randle? :D That player is probably a starter and a star.

I would feel absolutely comfortable with Lopez starting, but I agree we'd have to have a good player off the bench. Randle would be a great player off the bench if we could afford him.

If we could pull off a trade away of Clarkson and Deng (attaching picks/Zubac/Bryant/Nance or Hart if we have to) we could end up a lineup of:

    Ball/
    George/Wade/Hart
    Ingram/Brewer?
    LeBron/Kuzma
    Lopez/Randle

Wade for the minimum, Lopez for the room exception. Time it so Randle signs his extension after George/LeBron are committed. Extreme versatility from top to bottom. Lopez plays maybe 20 minutes a game or less even and just sets the tone inside. He's a good fit when he's playing well.

His fifth foul might have saved this game, sent his weak a** back to the bench. He’s soft, got schooled by Embiid, I’m done with this dude. I wouldn’t take him back for the minimum, he’s weak as hell, no heart.

I'm not done with him in terms of bringing him back, but I am done expecting anything at all from him.

I actually thought he played as well as he has been lately (not good), but got jobbed with some stupid calls. I also think he gets zero benefit of the doubt on anything. I think he's "fouled" as much as Joel Embiid is in the post, but doesn't get the calls.

I also think he should stop shooting outside and his lack of shooting has been really detrimental to both he and the starting lineup.

He played a bit better than last time we faced Philly which isn’t saying much.

Overall just not doing enough for us out there.

Lakers will have either Lebron and PG or PG and Cousins next year. It's a moot point. Let him ride the season out.

If his offense isn't going or left out, Lopez can't do the other things to impact the game. Rebounding, screening, rim protecting. Those things...
