Right now we have 9 games left and owe Philly the 10th overall pick. If we lose out, then we sit at 50 Ls for the year and own the tie breaker vs the Queens (who sit at 50 losses right now). That puts us at owing the 8th overall pick to Philly.

Risking BI and Hart's health for a measly 2 pick positioning swap at the bottom of the lottery ain't worth it.

@Savory Griddles BI seems to have a groin strain and those lil bastards tends to linger, so what's the point in having it become more of a nuisance into an early summer break. We know what we have in BI, so we don't need to really evaluate him (under contract for at least 2 more years). Hart has been injury prone this year ever since training camp and why risk an injury that affects his summer development. It's better to get a better look at Jules (although it's apparent he's a keeper), BLo, Frye, Wear, Zu, TB, GP3 and KCP so we have a better idea in what to do when it comes to rounding out our roster after a successful #2018Plan or a contigency plan if it fails.

@LTLakerFan I'm built for this bro. I came up during the early stages of CL when it was a free for all. I love when it gets chippy, cause discussion goes to a sincere place. Don't intend to turn this into another Jules discussion, but I can admit that you and the Fandles made me do an about face and eat major crow on the dude. I didnt think he was a key cog moving forward but now I certainly do. Without some fiesty discussion, I woulda been cheated of that realization.

@sirronstuff I know it's all out of love bro and respect! I've never thought otherwise and I hope you and others know that. Even tho I'm inconsiderately condescending and lengthy in my diatribe, it's always coming from a place of respect. I wouldn't put in the effort to those that I didn't respect and like as members/posters, which is why I never get into it with Real.

 

As much as I'd like to see us win some more games, I think I'm with @vasashi17 on this. He's shown more than enough this year and justified the front office's faith in him.

I'm okay with letting him go ahead and sit out the rest of the season to make sure there aren't any lingering issues.
