Even if we don't get good free agents and just fill out the roster with some depth guys and veterans it's not the end of the world. We are gonna be plenty exciting to watch and as long as there is growth it's just fine.

This is such a tremendous pick-up for us. How many prospects can boast all of the many things that Ingram has? You want preposterous length? He's got over a 7' wingspan. You want a shooter? He's a deadeye shooter from distance. You want a kid who makes the right plays? He is a consummate winner.

There's not enough good things to be said about Ingram and it's pretty clear the Lakers knew they'd be getting him today. The franchise is excited and I cannot be more excited as well. Our future is just phenomenally bright with this kid on the roster. He has every chance of being the very best of our young, talented core.

To think we could've been left without a first rounder at all...

So excited about this kid. From the beginning when I first started looking at highlight reels of the top prospects towards the end of the regular season, he was the only one I wanted. He's going to be great.

That picture excites me. That is some freaking talent. With Luke coaching and some decent acquisitions, we are doubling our win total next season.

Ingram seems like a really good kid. He's gonna be great for us for a long time. Today was a great and epic day.

Agree. From the first highlight video I saw of him, I was all in. I didn't want us going after anyone else. So thankful Philly didn't take him. I think they'll regret that decision in the near future.

Anyone have a picture like photoshopped of the five young guys. (Russell, Randle, Clarkson, Nance Jr., and Ingram)

Just me, or is his shooting form excellent? That elbow/arm is straight as can be.

The little Laker breakdown on TWC said he released his shot at over 10 feet in the air. Freaking nuts. He's got a very natural shot.

Speaking of "thick" A. Brown has some of that going on too. He may surprise us this year under Luke. What a great shot. Can't believe all the young guns showed up for Brandon the 2nd dinner. Practices are going to be amazing. Summer League's going to be amazing. Being back in the playoffs this year is going to be amazing. Book it.

What can I say... a future star. Lakers might have the best group of young players in the NBA right now:

DAR, Clarkson, Ingram, Randle, Nance, Big Z.

And after this picture was taken, Anthony Brown proceeded to slaughter everyone in the room with a dull butter knife.

There's a guy over on LG that is beating the hell out of it because it starts kind of low to side of his head and shorter guys have a shot at it. But he's getting mocked a lot for the nit being picked.

I don't even know what that was about. Wilbon with an axe to grind or something?
