    Carmelo got a 15 game suspension back in 2006 for a sucker punch. I wouldn't be surprised if Ingram gets at least 10 games.

    I'd love delude myself and hope for some systematic change come from this. Maybe a letter to the league from multiple teams:
    "Although we never condone violence, we urge the league offices to understand that frustrations endured by players due to how James Harden is incorrectly officiated, can lead to dangerous physical outbursts such as this. Players are expected to maintain composure no matter what, but this is an emotional game and we fear future loss of composure may arise should James Harden continue to be refereed in such a manner. We emplore the league to do their part in ensuring players feel they are being officiated fairly."

    Imagine if 15-20 teams sent something like this, essentially saying, hey our players have almost lost their cool too. This bs has to change.

    I don’t look at the season like that. There’s no guarantee we would have won the games we lost when BI was out if he had played, plus I don’t like to play the “if this didn’t happen.. we would have made the playoffs” game. I’d be irritated all the time if I looked at it that way

    How long you guys think he’ll be suspended for?

    My guess is 7 games or so but I would not be surprised if it’s longer.

    That sucker punch at the end, will get him extra 3-4 games on top what he was supossed to get. My guess is 10-12 games... nba is soft.
    If it was up to me, 4 games max.

    if it was me I say let them fight it out. then 5 minutes in the penalty box then back on the court. no suspensions. guaranteed itll cut all the nonsense flopping on the court

    Not surprised by this take. Russillo has always been pretty level headed. It’s why he left ESPN and they replaced him with that clown/weasel Will Cain, who trolls on purpose and laughs at all his own jokes.
