Skinny beast actually sounds great as a nickname for Brandon. I always expected him to become the best out of all our prospects. Now that Randle is gone, he's automatically also my favorite Laker... By far.

I'll be your huckleberry. De-souped Ingram ;) ..... and Jaked it while his team and teammates got eliminated from the playoffs last year. Great teammate.

    1) LABron wasn't locked up for 4 yrs and hadn't decided to come here alone yet
    2) Paula was still Paul and therefore was still an option
    3) BI's been my guy, but with Kawhi and possibly Paul, I hesitantly make Zo the keeper since he's a better fit for "that" team and fills a need..so not Kawhite "wanting" to trade BI (I hold onto him for dear life even in a potential AD trade...but if talks stall, you have to consider BI in the package.. especially to make salaries work)
    4) Which brings us to SA and they weren't taking a Deng dump as the principle salary in a Kawhi deal
    5) Even with a S&t Jules as the salary principle, we needed much more salary to bring in Kawhi's contract (trade kicker not withstanding)
    6) Anybody not named Zo & BI was making far too less salary to pair along with Jules to get a deal done
    7) So you had to aggregate salary to make a legal trade for Kawhi to work
    8) All while clearing enough cap for a Bron walk on and a Paul s&t (or opt-in & trade) into our remaining cap space. Trading all those guys wasn't just for Kawhi, but the potential to attract 2max players to come to LA to play with Kawhi
    9) Now Bron + Kawhi + Paul + Zo + roster filler is gone be a problem. And if Paul ends up going full P**** P, she's still a trade asset we can poown off to another sucker team. Still a win for us.

@Savory Griddles All I'm saying is that I'm BIg on the kid...Bron actually said he made the King drip... How's that for subtle?

Like Luke said we just need that same defensive intensity he gave in the last 5 mins of the 4th quarter for the entire game. Brandon said that in his interview after the game he wants to do that but needs to get in better shape to be able to handle that.

Playing next to LeBron he can almost walk into 15 points a game.

When he plays with fire and energy, he can put up 25+ or so. If he was able to shoot outside with some consistency (or anywhere really), he'd be a top 10-15 scorer in the league. Can he do it? Can he play with the kind of fire he showed late in the game all the time? I have my doubts.

Luckily he can come along slowish next to LeBron. LeBron finding him on those cuts is smooth like butter.

love how he's moving off the ball. others need to be taking notes. this is how this team can be effective offensively (aside from transition). guys are going to have to move with force and purpose, in coordinated fashion. zo, rondo, and lebron will find you if you're open. get that way.

Great game from the kid last night. Careful BI, we could get used to this. Keep it up! I'm digging the love he's getting from Lebron, too. This really could be a break out year for him if BI can stay relatively healthy.

The game will get easier for him once Zo gets back in there; Brandon can play more off-ball...

I’m super excited to see this. I’m a huge proponent of movement off the ball and I was worried none of our youngsters would be good at this aspect of half court offense, and then Ingram starts showing me this. Love it!!

Lebron and Rondo especially will feast on easy assists with this guy running around all those screens and cutting when his man turns his head.

Most frustrating part of BI is that this type of defensive energy is something he can do all game. Luke even said the same thing in the postgame presser. I really hope BI steps into that responsibility/challenge more.

And the exciting part is that he intends to, especially since Bron will make his offensive efficiency/load so much more easier.

Pay attention to what he says @1:20 mark...

"Starting the offense on the defensive end!"

    My man has that #BIntelligence!

The silent assassin out there, dude looked damn near unstoppable out there. Lebron drawing the opponent's best defender will free Ingram (and Kuz) up so much.
