He might not be the most “talented” per se but he is definitely the most well-rounded because he is an elite defender and if Curry didn’t exist Klay would be considered the best shooter of all time. He would be a perfect fit.

Good overall performance tonight. Made some nice dishes and got to the cup. Had a few bad iso plays at the ends of quarters but mostly a strong game.

Tatum advance stats thats why the perception is different and Tatum got his chance to shine in the playoffs, Ingram has not.

i think a) boston wins more and b) tatum is a year younger/less experienced. also, tatum kicks his butt on a lot of the stats not shown there (PER, WS, 3pfg%, ft%, thus efg, etc.).

i haven't been blown away by tatum, for the record. i think neither projects as a real star. so...i agree with the tweet?

Maybe so, but Ingram also IMO has the edge on defense so I'll happily take that

Stu Lantz on the broadcast last night shared something about Ingram that really surprised him that he learned from talking with the Lakers staff before the game. Ingram actually has a long wingspan then The Greak Freak. Stu said Ingram was like 7' 4" or 7' 3" while Giannis is 7' 2" or 7' 3". I forgot the exact quote but Ingram was slight longer.

I would have never thought that.

advance stats also say Tatum is better on D too, Tatum also shoots better from ft and shoots 38-39% from 3's since his rookie yr.

Tatum is a lot smoother than BI whose play is just grating if that makes sense.

this was one of the thing i noticed during last yrs draft, Tatum looks like a natural basketball player, Ingram looks so awkward with his shooting and dribbling

Ingram does not look awkward because of his basketball skill(s). It's because he is built like this:

If he were to apply himself to other things like being a defensive stopper ala Kawhi, perception of his game would be alot better...

You know at the circus, those dudes that walk on stilts?

He’s kinda like that with a basketball

Just looks awkward. On the opposite end of the spectrum, Kuzma looks ultra smooth.

Because advanced stats are for losers and stats on every damn thing is getting exhausting. This is sports, you can see the damn games and player and what they do. This isnt Amazon or some computer system judging s***. It's talent and performance. Seriously tiring seeing all these dorks and geeks try and Billy Bean everything. Billy Bean hasnt won s*** and he is still effecting all this s*** almost a decade since the movie came out.

thats how perception is based on now but eye test also suggest Tatum is better than Ingram, sorry Ox if you watched last yrs playoffs you wouldn't think this way, I couldn't imagine Ingram doing what Tatum did during that playoff stretch.

C Bags stunted Tatum's growth this year, not their fault, but Kyrie Irving doesn't make anyone better no matter how talented he is and Hayward plays the same position. C Bags will have to make a decision soon on that.

He’s one of the leading vote getters in the East?

    :Tabarnak: Brandon (Probably)

To be fair, what we saw of Tatum in the playoffs last year exceeds anything BI has shown us. That doesn’t dictate the future, but he’s ahead for sure right now.

ahead is an understatement, he makes Boston a favorite for AD trade by his mere presence.

I think he's still growing into his body, coordination and strength wise. Once that happens we'll see a different player.
