If we were playing for playoff seeding, I’d agree. We aren’t though, so there isn’t much point in risking our young players making injuries worse. We need these kids healthy for next season when Paul George joins them. THEN, we go after the playoffs and you play through the boo boos.

At this point, looking at their list you have to ask them if they're okay in the head. I mean just go bleep yourself while your at it guys.

Also just read the responses from many of our guys that we all follow for Lakers coverage to get their impressions of this haha.

I’m sure it’s nothing serious. Just precaution since he’s still sore.

Where's therealdeal? Da hell is a "L hip flexor strain" ? It looked like he grabbed his nuts in agony after getting kneed there by Winslow as he crunched and fell on him.

@LTLakerFan The muscles on the left that are used to flex your quad up past your hips so that your knees hit your chest.

Winslow came into his groin....pause. Well that action is what initially caused him to grab his nether regions. But if you see how he landed which involved his hips and feet stretching unusually, that is what caused the diagnosis.

A MRI will be used to measure the degree of severity in the muscle tear (ie Grade I to III). It doesn't seem like a Grade III cause he walked off on his own strength. Most likely a Grade II if its still sore to not go tonight.

Yeah if I had to guess looks like he was kneed in the groinal region which is the reaction you see. He came down hard on his left side however which is likely where the injury came from.
