A lot of his jumpers go strong, that was a great thing to see. His ability to get to the rim and his finishing is getting so much better as well as his defense, he just needs that jumper to go down consistently and if he can from distance too, he'll be a top guy in the league.

To use the quote from Slava's interview:

Q: "So, what did your teammates tell you?"
    A: "Um.... great shot".

Ingram is becoming our most consistent scorer, even when it doesn't look like he scored that many points he's always hovering around a given 16-22 points a game. Loving his improvement. I think he deserves most improved player of the year

Clarkson's improved a lot this year too and Randle but edge to BI so far it would seem.

    Check this out:

    October: 14.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3 assists, 1.4 steals, 0.6 blocks in 7 games
    November: 16.3 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 0.6 steals, 1 block in 14 games
    December: 19.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3 assists, 0.8 steals, 0.3 blocks in 4 games

The biggest difference: he's taking about 4 more shots a game. The efficiency has come and gone, but he's getting more aggressive.

That's what I loved most about his GW against Philly and even Stu mentioned it on the broadcast. He hit that shot and just strolled back to the bench. No big deal, I've hit that shot before.

Meanwhile young guys like Jamal Murray are dribbling around guys and making bow and arrow signs after every 3 points shot made.

yeah, murray didn't impress me at all in that game. it's obvious you don't normally play that way by your own behavior--and it wasn't even that great. enjoy obscurity.

I was wondering when Ingram’s one dimensional, driving to the basket game was gonna catch up to him. Once Zinger blocked his shot a few times, he didn’t know what to do because 80% of his repertoire was nullified. He’s gotta develop a pull up game off the dribble drive for games just like this.

I wondeeed the same. He really should take the gimme midrange shots every time it’s available. That would open up his drives to the hoop easily. I expect that to be all ironed out in his Year 3.

Ingram doesn’t worry me. Rough game, but he’ll adjust.

I'm not sure how a guy can continuously go to the cup and only earn 1 FT, but the refs swallowed their whistles for both teams so I ain't too mad.

If dude just converted some of his shots tonight, we're in firm control of this game. Just something extra to learn from kid. But the most disappointing was their frontline players blasted us tonight and if you ain't hitting your shot, you need to come up with other ways to contribute. He didn't tonight.

A really, really bad game from him. He wasn't just bad with his jumper, he was ineffective defending as well. This was a frustrating game from him.

I have faith he'll adjust though.
