We have an Open Court section of the forum with a thread dedicated to random fun. Feel free to use it. Please don't junk up Lakers Discussion with extended conversations of which female announcer you guys are currently fantasising about.

Do you have the ability to move it to the more appropriate forum? If you do, just move it. I was just responding, did not start the subject. But don't think it is horrible for people to blow off a little steam. But I concede that I don't know the history of the site so don't realize the extent of it. That being said, moving it would be easiest if possible. It would not offend me in the slightest.

Appreciate it. Wasn’t focused on you alone. Just trying to steer the thread back to AD.

This, I’m not worried about it at all. He asked the Lakers to blow up the team to get here and they did. He also waived his trade kicker to try and get Kawhi, he’s all in on the franchise. It’s still wise for him not to say anything though, because we saw what happened with someone like Kyrie when he said he was going to re-sign with Boston before the season and then ended up being miserable. He was made out to be an a-hole for saying that and then later learning it wasn’t the place for him. Even if AD knows %99 he’s staying he doesn’t benefit by saying it, for example if we aren’t great at the deadline he could, if he wants, use the fact that he doesn’t have to re-sign to push for a trade for a 3rd star. I don’t see it happening, but it’s an option.

That's what he's supposed to say as a business person. It's been said a bunch already but casual fans are going to freak out next off-season when he opts out and enters FA. But we've known he was going to do that all along because he can get paid the most by doing that. We're the team that can offer him the most.

    I'm not worried at all.

Dwight never wanted to be a Laker in the first place. AD on the other hand has made it pretty clear he wanted to be here so no reason to think he’s gonna leave barring a nightmare season.

Yeah. Not to mention Lebron is still here at least another year after next. Does anyone really think Klutch would let him walk?

    AD: "Hey, I'm a grown a** man. I do what I want. "

Also AD: "Someone else laid out that t-shirt for me. I have no control over what I wear. I don't dress myself."

this is where we find out if guys really like to play with Lebron or not. If he's a douche, AD gladly walks.

    Magic
    Kobe
    Worthy
    Gasol
    Jabbar

Anthony Davis will eventually replace Gasol. Lebron will have to win 3 titles before he replaces Worthy at the 3.

Shaq or Jabbar is a coin flip but 14 years and 5 titles trumps 8 years and 3 titles.

good luck to the Clippers trying to contain AD, when AD single handedly abuses even the Raptors front court and the entire league. Blazers are so scared of AD the very first thing they did in the off season was trade for Hassan Whiteside. I can possibly see the 6ers and maybe Denver give the Lakers trouble, but for the rest of the league they won t have much of a chance vs the Lakers in a 7 game series.

AD has better wing skills then Kawhi, probably the only advantage Kawhi has over AD is the 3 pointer %, have them go mano el mano on the wings for the entirety of the game, and AD would dominate KaWho. Lakers have enough depth to make it happen too lol. Btw saw how Nawlins would have AD defend Durant during end of games and he did very well.

The nice thing about Philly though, is they are one team that allows us to put out our best 5 if they put out their best five since Lebron can actually play pg and not have to chase around a smaller quicker guard.
