    you had me until you got to DMC and for Carr I have been burned to many times by current players to buy any of their Jerseys. Gannon would be one I'd consider for sure.

    DMC has been a fave of mine since he came to Oakland. I'd buy any of the others before him, including Carr.

    This team is flawed big time, but I'm for some reason hopeful about the future. We've surrendered only 16 points - and that's with two TOs.

    Im hopeful I really like carr and our receivers are improving. Maybe we will get that first win against the champs. one can hope..right?

    Carr throws for a career high (328 I think).
    We suck pretty bad, but if only we had a running game. We gave up 24, but that's with three TOs, including one on our own 9.

    Get this team some running backs!

    There was 2-14...BUT 0-16 would be rock bottom. I really have to hold my head up high and just take it like a fan.

    Boy what we could do with any sort of running back who has a smidge of vision. defense has been great considering the pain the offense has put them in.

    You know...we were down 24-3 to the SB Champs, and we came back to lose 30-24. Somehow I don't feel all that bad about that.

    I actually got to watch the whole game. Usually I just get to watch NFL Redzone. A couple things I noticed:

    1. Our defense is actually pretty good. We occasionally don't tackle with our arms instead going for the hit but overall its shaping up nicely. They are the sole reason we were in the game for much of it.

    2. The young QB is the real deal. This kid is poised and really makes great reads. That side armed bullet he tossed under the rushers arm to the receiver was impressive. I would love to see what John Gruden could do with this kid.

    3. Darren McFadden needs to be a #2 back and used as a receiver. The guy is explosive as hell but he has no vision. I'll give him the O-line is not great at blocking but there are so many plays McFadden just runs into the back of our own guys. I'd love to see him get out on the slot and pick up some tight end type catches to get in the open field.

    4. Our running game is horrid. We cant open up our offense cause we have negative run plays like its gatorade on the sideline (more than one could handle).

    Lastly, this game was a real positive for me. We had 3 turnovers both INT's were great plays by the defense. The fumble was also a great play but totally avoidable if the runner was protecting the ball through the pack. In the end, we over came all that to be within a touchdown of winning. Yes I was happy with this game.

    We need a RB. I don't see why we don't let LTM run the damn ball. It's impossible to be worse than MJD.

    Our defense isn't terrible, but it's injury riddled.

    I think we have a solid foundation for the future.

    Derek Carr...Khalil Mack...Gabe Jackson. Nice young cornerstones to build around. Direction is up. It will be another interesting off season.
