    Klutch could conceivably make it happen. If Garland simply refuses to work out for teams outside of the Lakers and doesn't show up at the combine, is a team really going to take him coming off knee surgery (albeit minor surgery)? The problem is the precedent it sets. Klutch sports might also find themselves getting vilified by all teams not named the Lakers. As an agency, I'm not sure you can take a risk like that.

    If Ingram is still on the roster, I don't think a veteran pg is as important as it would be for most teams. Lebron will likely be taking the ball up in crunch time of the playoffs regardless of who the pg is. Ingram can bring the ball up in most situations as well. Don't get me wrong, I would like to keep Lonzo WITH Garland if the chips fall that way. I just think he will be used to bring in a more "playoff ready" veteran......one who has no Lavar Ball and one that can stay on the court. Ideally, he is part of a package with Kuzma and Hart that lands us AD. My dream summer is Garland as our pick, Kuzma, Ball, Hart and two future firsts for AD. Sign a couple shooters. AD/Garland/Ingram as our future core. Lebron eases into retirement. The more likely scenario? We trade 3 firsts, Lonzo, Ingram and Kuz for AD so we then have Lebron, AD, and crap veterans surrounding them.

    Anyone think Bol Bol stock will drop due to his broken leg (mainly to us :) )? Can he make it in the pros with that build?

    he's almost universally mocked below our pick, i think. tbh, i wasn't crazy about his game the few times i watched him. seemed like he had really slow feet (like thon maker).

    Yep. Most the mocks have him starting below our pick, let alone whatever drop this injury will cause. Jaxon Hayes is the only center in the top 15 in a lot of the mock drafts I've seen. And he's right around where we would be picking in most mocks. If there is no AD trade, and Klutch can't push Garland to us, I bet we take Hayes. The 10th pick is on a rookie deal that starts at 3.5 million. Having a young, athletic rim runner locked in at that price? Seeing as every other position on our team is filled and none of the premiere free agent/trade targets play there either, it seems like the logical pick at our range if we don't make a jump in the lottery.

    Hayes looks like another string bean. Need some thick with a motor down low. We used to have one of those.

    Yeah, Hayes struck me as a logical pick. Could see us thinking Clarke could be a Marion type, too (though his offensive game is way behind Marion's at a similar stage).

    Is this a fair NBA comparison?

    Zion = Blake Griffin?

    Souped up Randle? Does he have any handles anywhere or in the open court?

    Yes. Souped up Randle is not a bad description. He does a lot of things already that it took Randle a couple years to learn though plus he jumps out of under gym. He already bounces defenders off him, and instead of that weird english Randle puts on his shots that caused him to miss a lot of gimmes early on, Zion hasn’t fantastic touch around the rim. He drives at the perfect angles to put the ball off the glass, he shoots it kinda straight on and they go in most of the time. He’s also very smart already at drawing 2 defenders and kicking to the open shooter right away, he has a real natural feel for the game. On defense he’s got quick hands, and he’s a good help defender with his highlight blocks, and just overall he likes the big moment and is showing to be clutch and a gamer. Of course he has weaknesses, he’s not much of a shooter at all, he’s only 6’7 but really has a PF game, and he’ll need to slim down a little or at least tone up like Randle did, but whoever drafts him is a lucky team.

    randle with a higher hoop iq and even more athleticism. so yeah, kinda like blake griffin, too.

    but folks who get paid to do this say he's the best prospect since davis, so i'm clearly missing something. does seem to be a great kid, though, which matters.

    I really enjoy watching Jarrett Culver, that kid is very versatile and plays great defense. He also has a good improving jump shot. He has star potential.

    Another advantage he has over Randle/Griffin is his arms are a bit longer. So even though Randle may be an inch taller or so, Zion will play bigger. I think another good comp might be a souped up Draymond Green.

    he'll have to REALLY fix his shot mechanics, imo. i only watched him for a few minutes, but that was a slow release and still not a very accurate shot. otherwise reminded me of jimmy butler.

    We don't have a 2nd round pick (yet), but Klutch got Morgan, who has a 4yr collegiate career and fits the Kuz/Hart mold.

    Also don't forget this kid...

    And isn't there another dude that signed to New Balance after Klutch sealed this unique internship for Baze?
