Yeah I’m fine with this if it happens. Jimmy is starting to feel like a problem for locker rooms and he’s not good enough to lead a team much of anywhere by himself

I'm just more worried about the Domino effect of Kawhi going to the clippers because they have Butler etc

I gotta admit, Durant going to the Knicks would be epic and great for the NBA.

If Kawhi picked the Clippers and Butler over the Lakers and LeBron, is he really the guy we want him to be?

Would you even ask that if you had no Lerbon and you would know he flirted with the Clippers? Let's say there was FIBA world championship this summer into witch Team USA did not send their best players and he looked like healthy Peak Kawhi in that?

Imo it's KD or nothing when it comes to next season free agency .

I really believe Butler and Kawhi don't want to play with Bron .

Let's hope BI improves a great deal and we will be able to flip the rest of the kids for A.D

i'm inclined to agree, but again, i think we can still make good use of the flexiblity if durant stays or goes elsewhere. star-level players move a lot these days. there's going to be another one who wants la.

    Facts!

@OmarE I want the Klaw more than anybody (see willing to give up 9 active players..not 11 tho :p), but picking the cLips over us means Kawhbye is dead to me. Plus if Butler does end up going to the cLips, imo I think it's more likely Kawhi chooses us. I'm hoping Butler gets moved to the cLips tbh.

Speaking of Kawhi, what's the over/under Walker demands a trade by the end of the season?

Something tells me this was about a move either about to happen or should have been about to happen and he wouldn't pull the trigger.

Or it could be the (unfortunately) usual: some sort of legal issue.

In our context: maybe they were about to facilitate a deal somehow or should have been facilitating a deal somehow and this guy wasn't cutting it.

Made the all-nba defensive 2nd team last season as a rook...

What a stunning loss for the Spurs among the other losses they experienced this year.

I would never doubt Pop, but this has to be the year they're done, right?

I don’t see how they overcome this. They might blow this up and stockpile draft picks now.

I wonder if we try and keep Williams around in some way, even if it’s only on the G-League team. Sure he’s mostly played against the weaker competition when he comes in, but he’s been one of our only competent bigs around the basket, not giving up tons of layups or getting owned. Not a terrible 15th man if we aren’t going to take a look at another true backup C.

I think we're saving that 15th spot for Noah or Bosh

I just can’t see Bosh happening. No FO wants to be the guys that signed a guy with a known heart condition.

Anyone watch much of Tyson Chandler last year? I could see him being an expiring K and then buyout candidate around the trade deadline. He’s obviously fallen off, but anyone see enough of him to say if he could hold it down for 10-15MPG?

^ Hold it down for 10 minutes? Sure, he can. If you play him more than that, he'll just get hurt. But I could see him playing every other game and 15mpg. Whether it's a good idea... I honestly don't know. I prefer to develop Zubac at this point, because he can obviously play as a backup. Just needs consistent minutes and good health. Kid is big, strong, can block shots and has soft touch. Not a star, but can be a solid role-player.
