Chances Nance also gets a bigger payday than Randle?
30 mil per year for Kevin Love LMAOOOOO
Does a 2 way contract not count against the 15 actual roster spots, I am now assuming? Didn't realize that. Who else has one, Caruso? Is 2 the limit?
- No they aren't roster spots.
- You can have two 2-way contracts.
- Yes Caruso is our other 2-way contract. Previous 2-way contract guys have been Vander Blue, Gary Payton II, and for two weeks Malik Newman.
idk. @therealdeal would know, though.
i hope so...if that doesnt lead to randle firing mintz than randle iq is alot worse than i thought
wouldn't surprise me, Cavs look to be taking care of there own right now while they struggle for the foreseeable future.
They're clearly tanking and using KLove to put butts in seats.
I remember these days (shout out Wesley Johnson). Then we got Lebron....
Never go back to those dark days.
In the East... your damn right
Broussard said that?
why the players behind james all the bench dude/new signing? lol looks like crap
The frontline tandem of Wes Johnson and The Lush was dominant, said no one ever.

Because the media prefers that narrative. It’s not funny if it’s Zo (or Rondo), KCP or Hart, Ingram, and McGee behind LeBron. The media clearly doesn’t watch our team or they wouldn’t disrespect our young players like they aren’t even there though.
We have the best player in the world and a roster full of young talent. We're going to surprise a lot of people next year!
yeah, as unimpressed as i am by the post-lebron FA period, we still have the bulk of a team that was pretty competitive last year, and added the best player in the world. not our fault the conference is totally stacked.
Yogi signed his King's deal (3m guaranteed this year vs 2.9m he woulda got with the Mavs)...so that's already weird AF....but the Kings have 11m in cap space, but now are sitting on 16 on the roster and still haven't met the cap floor (91m)...seriously weird AF.
So that implies they either gotta waive someone to get their roster down to 15, but will just go further away from the cap floor in the process...or they're going to have to trade where they send more guys heading out all while bringing in more salary to meet the cap floor.
Sac has 2 (possibly 3) 2nd round picks in 2019, but traded away both their 2nd rounder and 1st rounder in 2019. Meanwhile Toronto is at 13 on the roster and are 15m over the luxury tax threshold and traded away their 2019 1st rounder so only have their 2nd rounder for next summer....so yall must've figured out by now where I'm going with this.
Sac out: ZBo, Shump, Koufos, 2nd round pick(s), cash for buyout
Sac in: Lowry, Deng, LA 2019 1st and a future 1st rounder
= 15 on the roster and get past the floor, capping themselves out and then some, but avoid luxury taxes. Add a PG allstar mentor for Fox that they wanted GHill to be and pick up draft compensation for all their expiring contracts
Toronto out: Kawbye, Lowry (salary dumped)
Toronto in: Moe, Sv33, Shump, Koufos, Sac 2nd round pick(s), cash for Zbo or Koufos buyout
= 15 on the roster after the buyout and they shed almost 25m in team salary (36m if you incorporate the buyout) avoiding the luxury tax (and nearly 65m in savings if you consider taxes). They use Kawhi to dump Lowry and knowing he's a rental, also gain some young assets to start their rebuild.
LA out: Dengdump'd, Moe, Sv33, 2019 1st, future 1st, cash for buyout
LA in: KawHi
= 12 on the roster and now we can go hunt down some more vet free agents in the loony bin...also there is the possibility of going after whoever the Raps decide to buyout. We dump Deng, hold onto our kiddie stable and oh yeah....Kawhi f***ing LAonard.
If push comes to shove, I make Hart or Kuz available...but retaining BI and Zo, while avoid wasting a full year of Bron's limited prime, all while adding Kawhi f***ing LAonard...yeah, lets go do that please!
