How good of a player could we get for kuz, hart, and our lotto pick (assuming it's around 10th)?

Jimmy Butler was traded to the 76ers for Robert Covington, Dario Saric, Jerryd Bayless and a 2022 second round pick.

BUT we have the Lakers tax to think about so we could probably get Raymond Felton.

Beal if they wanted to blow it up in Washington for good? Maybe?

absolutely not, imo. washington seems like they're planning on keeping beal, period. i would, too. if he was actually available early in the season, we should have traded for him (as many of us hoped we would try). i'm not sure he was ever really available, though. and once wall went down, he really stepped up his game, so the opposite of what folks thought would happen (that they'd move beal in a total give-up) played out.

they are in a tough spot with wall's injury, though. it's pretty safe to assume he's cooked, and his contract will hamstring them for a long time.

still, kuz/hart/late lotto in weak draft is nowhere near fair value for an all-nba guard.

yea, washington briefly considered moving him early on and then decided not to pursue/entertain any deals entailing his departure. wish we could have gotten him in order to make an incremental change (instead of the top-5-all-star-or-bust mentality/plan) to our roster, but now it seems more or less out of the realm of possibility.

well, i mean half this forum balked at the idea of moving ingram for beal when washington would have never entertained that offer. i think the reluctance to move for beal on the part of fans is connected to the championship-or-bust mentality that drives our front office, past and present.

at some point, we're going to have to move on from this as an organization. it's getting kind of sad to be talking titles when you're six straight years in the lotto.

Honestly, I'm not moving Ingram for Beal even right now.

I like Beal, but his team actually played better with him off the court defensively.

I'm not sure I want to pay him that much money for only one side of the ball.

    Not only in the lotto...

We, in fact, have the absolute worst record in the NBA over the span of those 6 years.

You probably shouldn't look at Ingram's dbpm (or obpm, for that matter)...
