Oh snap...you'd choose blow over Melo...

See I knew it...Thanos made this s*** way too readily available.

Y'all sober up and then we'll discuss.

(Why did it have to be the half that loves getting high that remained).

SO what exactly do we need Melo for? His scoring? We have that in Hart/KCP off the bench, why add one thats shoots a terrible %, plays no D and is pretty much a black hole on offense

    Here ya go Vasashi...

I'm sort of in between you and Sirron. I think he still can play but it has to be the right situation. I don't think the Lakers would be the right situation for Melo.

Isn't there a team out there that's lacking one extra scoring punch off the bench and has nothing to lose from taking a chance on Melo?

I've addressed most of this in my previous posts.

But I bring dude in for small ball 5 so Bron doesn't have to do it.

I do it cause our bench is:

Middle of the pack in offensive rating...

    23rd in points per game

And has almost a non-existent post up game if and when our bench needs to control tempo

Anyways, you guys are making this way too complicated.

You do it to make your star happy, which can only improve team chemistry. You do it to add another vet for the youngns to learn from (and these youngns are hungry for it, from BLo to Bogut to IT to the MUD/SmashBros we have now). You do it cause it's absolutely low risk and we're nowhere near paying taxes.

You do it to keep the real core fresh heading into May.

@Big Mamma Jamma thx for the link bro and I'm aware that we have no legit interest and that Bron/Klutch hasn't forced a directive.

Yet I still like the idea of adding Melo if it comes off the heels of a 2for1 trade where a roster spot opens up.

    And we have a trade:

Interesting that the picks are for 2021, when Giannis becomes an unrestricted free agent.

there's very little I'd want the young dudes to learn from Melo....and you can make James happy, how you think the harts, kuz, ingram type gona be happy having to give up more of their shots to an old arse Melo who wont be doing anything on the floor besides shooting

I like this trade for the Bucks. George Hill was on the Spurs when Buldenholzer was an assistant. I like George Hill and this will be a shot in the arm for him to go to a legit contender.

So, that piece of crap Dellavedova returns to the cesspool of Cleveland... haha!

And some thought dude was done...

Yeah, I think it's safe to play the contrarian on this board.

"Get Melo on line 1...yeah we'll come get ya once we shuffle the deck and open up a roster spot...stay ready."

He is done. He’ll last a month at best then he’ll be injured. Always been a fan of Noah and his calling LeBron a b**** ways, but I’ll be shocked if he can stay healthy. He got ran into the ground like Deng and Rose, and Rose is still surprising the hell out of me this year, but I always fear his season ending injuries, and he’s also 3 years younger than Noah. I can’t believe you or anyone else is seriously arguing for Melo to join this team either. He’s not a bench spark, he’s a terribly inefficient scorer and he can’t play defense to save his life. There are two sides to this game, remember?

Also, yeah, he was a scapegoat in Houston, but the other crap he’s taken from media and fans was self-inflicted. It started when he took the money over winning in New York, that’s how you start to get judged as not wanting to be a winner and show people where your basketball priorities are. Then it continued with him laughing about coming off the bench for OKC when that was clearly a better move for that team, and they are rolling this year without him. By the time he took a bench role in Houston it was too late to appear like it was by choice or a sign of humility for him, it was his only way to join a contending franchise and stay relevant. Now he’s lucky if any team gives him another shot, and I sure hope it’s not us, because we have young players to develop, not old Melo’s pride to save for his buddy LeBron.

Bench scoring tonight sure coulda used a little punch doe..

    You develop youth with vets.

Also you do know he's a 1yr min deal and doesn't't impact luxury taxes for us this year and cap space for us next year in the least?

There's low risk and then there's Melo.

I couldn't care less if we get him or not, but the way most of you vehemently wanna deny dude, makes me want him more haha.

    Is that wrong?
