    And with a more iso Butler, you take the ball out of Simmons more. Butler is still one hell of a talent/add but they will miss Covington's and Saric's ability to spread the floor.

    Waiting to hear about Jimmy yelling at at one of the young kids on Philly's team.

    I can see Simmons struggling to play off ball when Jimmy wants his ISO's and Philly was already struggling with their 3pt shooting

    Guilty for sure in this thread, but in the 'Do thread, I didn't bring it up....I was instead summoned. And I just wanted to clear that up.

    He's gone and it's time to move on, but imo the FO can't break bread with someone's representation that constantly throws a wrench into the operation. Who released info that Jules woulda taken 12m per in an extension had it been offered, yet took 8.6m and lost bird rights in the process? You think the FO was looking to have that info leaked? You think Morey wanted to deal with Mintz...bye Ariza. You think Marks wants to deal with Mintz...no DLo extension. Heck even in a small market Presti kept Paula without rewarding her with her true max. So our FO was absolutely right in not wanting to deal with that clown and I just disagree completely with anyone saying otherwise.

    Moving on: Butler has a caphold of 30.3m next summer once he opts out of his player option, but his true max next summer is 32.7m. So with a team salary cap of 82.5m with that caphold for 7 players and then an incomplete roster charge for 5 players of 4.5m, Philly will have 22m in cap space to add to that team if Butler ends up staying. Btw, 0-6 seasoned players' maxes start at 27.3m.

    I was really surprised PHI didn't try and get Anthony Tolliver who is a nice stretch 4 who can shoot the 3 ball well. He would have been nice to plug in there to help with spacing for Embiid and Butler.

    You clearly haven't been watching Fultz this year and more so recently. Guy is losing confidence by the game and now you have Butler on the team. Butler's gaze toward Fultz alone but have an impact on him. Haha

    i dont think butler true reason for askimg out had to do with his complaints of wiggins/kat, i have a feeling minn wasnt going to offer him max. Phil wasnt on his list n as soon as hes traded there they already saying hes going to sign long term, that means phi agreed to max him before the trade went thru
