clueless or really cynically clued in. i've found that the really abhorrent people with whom i cross paths make it difficult for me to tell if they're really stupid or pretty smart and evil.

harden committed a foul in both instances. if the rockets set a screen or harden moved his lazy a** sideways, he'd have shot free throws #6,004,321-4. but, as always, he chose to expend less energy and just bully around. had smart grabbed his arm, then flew backwards (a page out of harden's book), i'd agree more with real (and still be ok with it, cuz harden), but smart just used harden's own proclivities against him. and again--the rules were enforced appropriately here, unlike 50% of the "fouls" harden "draws". so tired of this guy.

I'm not saying Harden didn't deserve a foul. I'm saying Smart flopped like the moronic fish he is and both of them are the worst, but something about Smart makes me physically ill. He's a piece of **** with barely any talent and antics like this are the reason he's still in the NBA.

Harden has absolutely no feel and smarts for the game in the clutch .

Letting the clock run down and jacking up contested shots .

The 2 offensive fouls are just the prime example of how dumb he is

True, but like abeer has mentioned - the refs have really helped him become that person. They've rewarded him so much, that anyone who got his calls would keep playing that way.

LLLLL just missed a clutch shot on his birthday. I’m not surprised, but at least he had the balls to take it.

NBA refs are a sad joke, been like that for years. I had hope Silver will do something about it but he's as blind as Stern was.

Refs have been noticeably worse this year. It's ridiculous.

Toughest job in the world. No one is ever happy, and calls can be missed every game.

That being said, what the heck happened?! It’s like all the experienced quality refs were replaced by JV refs overnight. Not a good look.

missing calls is understandable. the game is really fast, and there's a TON going on out there. i remember trying to ref 5th graders when i was young; i missed all sorts of stuff.

systemic, intentionally inconsistent application of the rules is my problem. really, james harden. and all that that entails.

even the first few plays of our game last night were a problem for me. they whistled dwight howard for a questionable travel on his first catch, then caught his foot on the baseline on the next move. now, the second was clearly out of bounds, but if that's not dwight howard (who's become a league pariah), neither call is made. it's why he was laughing.

and now the refs made me side with dwight f***ing howard.

The things which can and can't be reviewed are a big pb too .

The double standards calls great teams/superstars and bad teams/rotation players always have been the biggest weakness of the league , I think we are noticing it more now that we are nobodies .

Harden got the most BS superstar calls in the history of the league ( tough to believe but I really think it's true ).

Some players and teams should stop complaining about every SINGLE call though , even the obvious ones ( GS , especially Iggy and Green come to my mind).

I can understand ( even if it's not professional) some refs want to screw cry babies up

Not the biggest Griffin fan but damn, i realy hope he is/will be OK. Nasty elbow to the head... refs didn't even stop the play after it. Get well man.
