Gotta put Carr on the bench for a bit. His head isn't in this game.

That Walford play really looked like a catch and fumble.

I think the writing is on the wall for Cooper. He better have a great next season or else he needs to go. I’m only giving him a break this year for injuries.

I like Cooper a lot. His talent is tremendous. He's also injury prone, and he's shown an absolute inability to fight through injuries to be the main man. If you could put Crabtree's heart in Cooper's body, you'd have an awesome WR1. I'm currently unsure that Cooper is an elite player. He might be a bottom of the line WR1, someone better suited to being a star WR2.

Awesome block by Hudson (I think) on Lynch's TD run.

Valiant comeback. Questioning this team's commitment, but totally convinced they are clueless on Xs and Os.

Alex Smith > Geno Smith > Paxton Lynch. Winning against teams with second string quarterbacks did not convince me that this group will get it done in Kansas City even if the Chiefs were struggling. Hard to stomach this after the success of last season.

Here's a thought... Carr having issues driving the deep ball because his back isn't completely healed?

    Bring back Gruden?

Musgrave > Downing... Stupid move to begin with releasing the former.

Why would you drop your OC after piling up the passing numbers Oakland did last year?

Ego Del Rio? Apparently Downing was being deemed a "hot commodity" for head coach vacancies? I would have let him feel out the market. Also, Carr has a liking to him. This what kills budding teams, not fostering and keeping stability.

On other news...keep seeing us "in the hunt" with these playoff scenarios. For what it's worth.

    'Pokes in town Sunday.

    Quick Hits

    1. Melifonwu's Surgery
Safety Obi Melifonwu wraps up a disappointing rookie season with surgery on (his ankle?). He joins Gareon Conley as a top draft pick DB sidelined essentially all season. Antonio Hamilton takes Melifonwu's spot.

    2. Injury Report vs. Dallas
OUT: Cooper (ankle), Mario Edwards (ankle), Walford (concussed - thanks, Carr), Melifonwu (see above).
    DOUBTFUL: Amerson
QUESTIONABLE: Autry (hand/ankle), Feliciano (concussed), McGill (knee).
COWBOYS OUT: Orlando Scandrick (CB), David Irving (DT), Justin Durant (LB).

    3. Raiders Dropping the Ball
Raiders lead the NFL in drops with 35. Cooper (10) leads the way. Crabtree (6), Cook (5).

To put this in perspective, Cooper has 86 targets, only 42 catches, and 10 drops. He drops 11.6% of passes thrown his way. He has left (I think) two TDs and at least 120 yards on the field with these drops. Probably at least seven first downs, too.

This team has seemed to quit. Its a damn shame after last season. No first downs, going backwards on offense... Disappointed in this team

Offense has got to help. Put up points. Get the D off the field.

    we finally got a stop.

Yes, offense needs to do something. Carr has been trying to place the ball this season. He isn't throwing it like he did last year. Our receivers have been horrible especially Crab and coop. They need to score plain and simple.
