We see this every year, a team or two gets propped up during the season as capable of beating Lebron in the playoffs. Inevitably those teams s*** the bed. Toronto still has the best shot I think, if Lowry can get healthy. They match up well and have two all stars in Lowry and DD. They bolstered their defense with Ibaka and Tucker, now if only Carrol can recapture the magic he found with the Hawks.
BOS and all the assets they have I think are really going to regret not pulling the trigger on a Butler deal during the trade deadline. With the Cavs appearing not as consistent this year they could challenge them. But because they stayed pat I don't know if in a 7 gm series they will have enough when push comes to shove. Not saying this is a bad thing, but pointing out that they missed out IMO
They held off because they think they can get Hayward in FA for free. Then they don't have to trade anything. After that they'll start looking to unload their kids for other needs and build around Top Pick/Thomas/Hayward/Horford. Maybe they try to get a stretch 4 in there. Maybe they trade all those guards for a wing. I'm with you though. If I were them, I'd have made the move this season. I think their window is going to close before they ever really got it open.
assuming they keep everyone. when teams overacheive, role players get paid. can they re-stock if they DO manage to nab the stars?
hopefully that's a one year issue, and we get to see what he can become It would be a shame to see a generational type of talent go to waste
Dre Drum is a waste of size and athleticism. Man, I love MKG, but at #2, can we consider him a bust? The Bucks are going to a be hard out for whomever they face. It seems Lue doesn't care about the #1 seed. Lucky the Magic and Sixers suck. Boston looks good, but luck Kyrie and Shump checking Beal and Wall. Gortat and Morris need to make Love and TT work.
I don't really blame MKG, MJ is terrible at the draft, he's consistently taken players ahead of where he should have. And to be fair too, 2012 was a pretty bad draft class.
I still don't see him as started material. In other news, I'm glad I don't live in SA and I don't have to hear Elliot anymore.
http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/19137825/brooklyn-nets-sit-6-chicago-bulls-reach-playoffs-win I'm mad at this and I can't explain why.
It's good for the Bulls to make the playoffs though. They're 3-0 against the cavs this season I believe. The cavs would probably destroy them in the playoffs if they meet regardless, but we can at least hope for a similar outcome!
That's why I hate health payers, especially in mass, sitting. Any, the last game of the season, and Jazz and Clips can still flip spots. Who wadda thunk that at the beginning of the season. I believe the Cavs can lock up no 1 win a win vs TDot, but a loss will drop them to 3rd? The Bucks can leapfrog the Hawks with a win and an ATL loss. If Miama and Chi win, and Indy loses, do the miss the playoffs? Going back the Canada, the they lose and the Wiz win, they'll be in 3rd, and the Raps with drop to 4th? Very confusing if and when's for the last game of the season. Update; James is going to sit. Again. Female cat. Anyway, I guess Lue is conceding the 1 spot.
