Yeah, I know it's a long shot, but not out of the question we make the playoffs. Talent is there, but it usually takes a team a season or two to gel but this team seems to like each other so much, I'm hoping some of the off the court chemistry translates to on the court sooner rather than later.
I definitely hope you guys are right about the playoffs. It would be great if we can swing a wing player in a trade.
I hope they are right, too, but I just don't see it. Byron couldn't coach this team to the PO's in the Eastern Conference, IMO. Hey, stranger things have happened, though.
I agree we have a legit shot. #8 is wide open and most every year some team gets decimated with injuries (hopefully not us again).
Three years in a row we've had to deal with injuries. I think we're due for a good year. Looong overdue.
Perry Jones III was just waived by the c bags. I would take a look at him, when kd was out he was balling. A 6'11 sf!!! He was waived due to too many front court players on the c bags
Perry Jones was definitely a talented guy coming out of Baylor. Haven't followed him much in the pros, but I'd give him a look.
Had a couple solid games, but since then has been completely underwhelming. Still worth a look, but I think he'll be looking for a guaranteed deal.
