The Warriors present some interesting matchups. Lin vs ex-teamate Curry. Kobe vs Thompson.

I also want to see how Davis and Hill deal with a real 7-footer like Bogut. Will the Warriors go inside to see if there is a matchup advantage?

^^ Agreed. On paper it should be a very intriguing match. Other than Bogut, the Warriors are on the small side like we are. They have more explosive offense but if we keep it tight it's anyone's game. We shall see!

based on how the first game went do most people post in both or just the Game Time chat? Based on how many pages the Lakers vs. Nuggets game was most just used the chat.

I don't see why anyone would want to see the thread instead.

^Threads are nice for pre and post game thoughts.

For in-game verbal comments, the shoutbox works better.

Which is exactly why game-day thread is superfluous. You have regular threads for the pre and post-game thoughts.

I disagree. The regular threads are usually about individual players (Jordan Hill discussion), news, statistics, or game strategy. Discussions about individual games usually takes place in a game-day thread.

I also disagree. These threads are great for posting links and having a post-game analysis, without putting comments in the individual player's thread. We can discuss coaching decisions, rotations, refs etc. here. What we liked - or disliked - about the game. General stuff like that.

For example - Nash is not playing tonight. IMO, this is a good decision. Have to try to keep him active as long as possible.

Yeah I watched a little of the Warriors-Clippers Preseason game a few days ago and Klay was on point in that game as well.

The guy is still playing like he was in the FIBA World Champ games

Kobe can still play D for sure. But he gambles, roams... same old stuff. And from time to time he'll get nice steals too.

Like some have mentioned in the Game Time chat, someone needs to punk or slap Klay in the face to try and break his rhythm

yeah no kidding. Our guys are cutting them off their drives, just standing there, and they keep calling them fouls. [IMG]

Two things hurting us, Klay Thompson, and a lack of scoring in the second unit.

Hopefully Clarkson is okay. He looked like he tweaked his knee defending Klay, and limped to the training room before the half....
