    Exactly. We could do a lot worse. At the end of the day he'd be on a minimum salary and he can get his own shot.

    At this point, Melo or Rose or Vince in any combination is pretty much a given. Rose is the best player, but I would not mind any of them ring chasing at this point. Adding depth off the bench, especially guys with playoff experience is good. Even Melo, if he is aware of where he is at this point in his career.

    I’d take them as ring chasers. Specifically to be end up bench guys with Wagner and Bonga though.

    Yay, can’t wait for 10 points off 20 shots in 10 mins from Melo. And with our luck Rose’s knee would finally burst a few games into signing with us, I don’t really want either of those guys.

    agree with your assessment on melo but rose has 2yrs of solid health now, i think its safe assumption he's past his injuries

    If he didn't just have his farewell tour, I think he'd join. But the unretiring after that is a bit awkward

    Not sure if it's a safe assumption, but I'd take a chance on him before Melo regardless. We will likely end up with both though.

    the part im not getting bout melo being useful is that last season hou cut him relatively early and not a single team in playoffs or in the hunt even looked his way n yet we still people in the media thinking he'll thrive here?

    I vote no on Melo. He doesn’t have the heart of an NBA champion and never did. I don’t want self-centered bums in our locker room.

    Melo is soft and weak minded.. he gave us some battle in the playoffs 40 yrs ago as a nugget, that was the highlight of his career.

    Would take Wade though, he has more in the tank will power wise and is buddy buddy with LeToe.
