I'll tell you what's even better than a moist towel on freshly shaved skin. Reading the C Bags forums, hahahahahhahaha. They are destroyed. I wish I could drink up all the tears with some honey jack.

I meant to add this comment with that video, but I might as well do it now. His timing on blocks is ridiculous, he gets so high for ally oops, his touch around the rim (he’s got a damn floater) has to be one of the best for a big in the game if not the best, he runs the floor as well as any big not named Giannis, we got ourselves a stud. That dunk he threw down on Allen pretty early in the video, I damn near jumped out of my seat, and it’s just a highlight. The only thing I might like to see is something one of the guys on one of the Laker podcasts suggested, maybe LeBron can talk him into not throwing his body around so hard/wildly. Appreciate the all out style of play, but it could clearly help minimize him getting dinged up so much.

Yeah, maybe there is no reason to risk his body so much now. He'll have help. ;)

Can confirm some details on the date of the trade - apparently it hinges on the 4th pick, and whether or not the Pelicans trade it and what the agreement surrounding that transaction is. That will dictate an early or late July deal execution. That's where all the confusion stems from.

That wingspan. Geezus those things are like an extra player out there.

What jumped out to me is that he's able to operate and get opportunities in the half court. Has the patience, skill and timing to make something happen. This will be crucial in the playoffs when things tighten up and matchups get real. Davis has a ton in his bag to bring to a series.

Makes me think how Giannis went from "most unguardable since Shaq" in round 1 to "he can't even score" in Gm 4 of the MIL-TOR series. Credits to the TOR's defense, but @OX1947 's dont believe the hype post from a few post a few pages back is pretty relevant here. And I loved watching Giannis last season.

While Giannis is likely faster and probably more athletic, I have no doubt that AD can start those fast breaks just like the Freak. Apparently AD played some guard in HS before having massive growth spurts. I'm excited to see the other parts of his game along side LeBron - who should be the best passer, ballhandler, hell, best point guard he's ever played with.

If we enjoyed Giannis last year, I think we're in for an even better ride next season with AD.

Both of the Golics made good points and defend us quite a bit on Golic and Wingo today. It’s too early for me to try and type out direct comments but I’ll summarize a bit and try to post the video when it comes online.

Basically they point out that we are winners here and really go into the hypocrisy of media positions by noting the injury history and struggles of our former young guys and how everyone was saying they weren’t good in February but now are talking about how great a team it is. Noted Kuzma is in a good position to develop further now.

Also point out the hypocrisy of guys on one hand saying no one wants to sign with us but also criticizing us for potentially not having a max slot.

Worth a listen especially if you’re sick of people who have flip flopped on this.

In keeping with this theme, you need look no further than one of Pelicans own SB Nation blog The Bird writes. This was their headline a day ago, and check the comments for the people absolutely ripping them apart for literally calling what the Lakers had to offer a dumpster fire back in May.

The media had Boston made the trade and kept Tatum like we did Kuzma:

"Move over President Trump, for this is the art of the deal. Danny Ainge proved how smart of a GM he really is with a move such as this, acquiring a 26 year old superstar in his prime and keeping his best asset along the way. Sure it was hard to let go of the other young prospects, but the potential for title runs with Davis is worth the risk. Also, it takes a savvy negotiator to only give up 3 draft picks, with some not even in the immediate future, for a player of this caliber, while it also displays confidence in the deal he made. Superb move from the leader of the league's most historic franchise, adding another chapter to the rich C bag legacy."

i know i'm a little late here, but i was just having this discussion with a colleague last week... not really into having another man's name on my back... however, my son's middle name is leonard, so you bet your sweet a** i'm buying a leonard jersey for him the instant that deal is made (/crosses fingers)!

I bet if Kawhi or Kyrie commits to signing in LA, Pelinka will throw in Kuzma to the trade so that the Pelicans agree to hold off on finalizing the trade until July 30.

I have a feeling the Lakers front office actually overlooked this detail to maximize their cap space. Everything I’ve read was that we get max cap space only if the Pelicans find a trade for #4 that they like. We have no control over that.

Its insane how blatant the hypocrisy has been on this. You'd think they would at least delete their old tweets.

Once upon a time, long ago, Javale McGee and Brandon Ingram had a baby, and his name was Anthony Davis.
