    Any cost meant like you can trade any players and assets. It didn’t mean don’t leave that 3rd max spot. If we didn’t agree to delay this until after July 30th to get that 32 mil for a max free agent I will be disappointed, no question. We can still compete for a title if we don’t do that and fill out the roster 4-10 with incredibly quality players, but we aren’t setting ourselves up long-term post LeBron without that 3rd guy.

    nope i still stand by my comment dude aint all that, just a #s guy with little winning to me, just find it funny same folks who said do whatever it takes to get him now its done? lol....im finding it harder and harder to cheer for this team of mercenaries, its nothing like gsw built team

    It’s not a favor, I assumed it was part of the negotiations. I would have thought the reason we had to give up 3 picks AND do the whole pick swap thing was incentive to agree to wait to make this official until after July 30th. Maybe it still is and it’s being reported wrong, I’m hoping for the best, unlike you who seems to be almost delighting in the idea that we may have messed up one angle of this trade. :wasntme:

    I also think this is being overblown and is just typical media sliding in a few shots at us.

    Worse case scenario we’re still in a position to add some solid guys to surround LeBron and AD with.

    I’ve been extremely critical of the front office for years now but not here.

    It all just feels like typical Laker hate.

    You basically just said you don’t care about this team now (said something like you’re not a fan of the mercenary approach and that we didn’t do this the GS way a few posts up too) and will laugh if they lose. That comes across as delighting in the misery, especially if that happens and most here are bummed about it and you’re going around being a jerk about it. You’re almost essentially saying you are rooting for this team to do poorly because you’re not attracted to them so you don’t care.

    I thought I heard that the Pels also gain $4-5Mil if the deal is postponed to July 30th..
    Can anyone confirm or clarify this..?

    @Weezy please don't waste your time with that member. Learn from my experience bro.

    Btw, the media will blow smoke and I agree EtG, but it's not a good look to waste even more assets to get to 30.5m when all we needed was draft capital to buy us time for 32m and we still keep all our other remaining assets.

    I'm good with no third max if that's what happened. AD is a generational talent. The nets showed us you can recover from the draft pick loss.
