    i think it's the opposite: danny's stringing NO along to see if he can convince kyrie to stay. if so, he's still not going to beat our offer. if not, he weakens both ny's and our packages and strengthens his own.

    if griffin capitulates, we'll learn a lot about his acumen, imo. he's not getting tatum/brown/memphis pick. ever.

    edit: btw, why does it trouble everyone that we don't have an allstar to match griffin's demands, but it bothers no one that neither do boston or ny?

    no reports of shopping jaylen brown and the memphis pick or mitchell robinson and the third pick for beal. why not?

    something smells all around.

    It's because we're the Lakers. With the same assets a team like Miami would have had this done already if Davis wanted to go there.

    Good post. I never saw much from Lue when he "coached" the Cavs to a title to suggest that he was a difference maker. All things being equal, Vogel seems like a more solid choice, but that's relative.

    Yes, bothers me a lot. I find the Beal rumors especially ridiculous. If we could get Beal for BI and the 4th pick, we’d probably just go get Beal and move on. Why the hell would we work that hard to get Beal to NO for AD?

    The Kuz stuff makes no sense to me, that can’t really be holding this up, it can’t. Our FO can’t really be that stupid if landing AD means we get a 2nd max guy to come here too
