I think the format was birthed by an old political show called Crossfire. Opposite opinions argued with loud voices and the cutting off of each person’s sentence. After it’s over, you don’t know what was really learned and why you watched.

I heard he’s gained nearly 30 lbs this offseason. That can’t be good.

Out of all the guys I prefer Kawhi OR Klay. Kawhi demands the ball just enough to be a complimentary player to LeBron. LeBron can kick out to Kawhi I wanted KD, but he and LeBron are sort of equally yolked. Too much ball dominance.

Klay is a great wing defender, along with being one of the best shooters ever. Klay's defense can take a bit of the load off LeBron. Also when's the last time we had a strong defensive team?

After this last election, I have stopped watching CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, etc. I have also stopped watching ESPN and FSN for the most part except Sportscenter, live games, and once in a while, PTI. PTI is two talking heads, but they are just having fun, smiling, not trying to yell over each other. It feels a lot more natural.

Point is, since I dropped all that garbage from my life, I feel a lot more at ease.

No way they break up their core IMHO. Klay and Draymond are going nowhere right now.

I feel bad for Lebron. Coming from that trash heap Cleveland franchise to one that is now damn near worse. I just didn’t see all this b******* happening. This franchise is supposed to be the preferred destination for top players.

That being said, if a top free agent takes a chance on the Lakers, this can be turned around damn near immediately. But then again I said that last year at this time.

I’m fed up with it and I hope Lakers fans keep complaining and keep the heat ip until those j******es (Hi Jeannie!;)) grow up.

Man, come on Commish. Save us. Force someone to trade / sign with us. We appreciate the draft picks but unfortunately with the morons managing us it wasn’t enough. We need a couple more stars ASAP

And this is why Adam Silver is the best commish in sports. I just wish he would allow more physicality in the game. I am not asking for 80s Pistons or 90s Knicks but enough of the flagrant calls on hard fouls.

The other 29 owners are in on not helping the Lakers. He knows even if he can do something it will need to be something like this to get under the radar.

Yeah. That was mainly me joking. I do think he needs to shut down the blatant moves guys like Pop make to put us down at every turn though.

That's why our free agency pitch must be perfect and snag stars that way, no one wants to deal with us, why should we grovel on our knees and severely overpay. Rob is a negotiator unlike Magic who went to the Pels like a rank amateur...obliterating what's left of our season

Health is what blew up our season... Even the kiddies will tell you that.

The AD deal gets done if Jeanie allows it to...

...but it appears that she "Wished" Kuz wasnt part of that trade package somehow.

Either way, a part of me is happy we didn't sell the farm (plus they were rumored to want all those picks too). Sure we wasted a possible postseason berth with Bron/AD this year, but I still want to be in play for a Ky/Kawhi + AD team-up and taking on Solomon might have been the end of that.

But aside from all of that...In Luei of what happened after Magic stepped down, you still think Rob is a good negotiater? We couldn't even close on a coach... actually we couldn't close on 2 coaches.

More than Rob, it's going to be Bron that is our primary recruiter/negotiater now. The narrative is Bron can't do it himself and if Kawhi joins Ky in failing this postseason, then a team-up would have it where either one could save the Lakers and Bron. Meanwhile, Bron will most likely get all the glory in bringing those guys here in spite of our FO.

Unless the Lakers get AD in a trade, Kyrie should not be anything they need to waste their time with. Kyrie is kind of a cancer, doesnt play defense and has a temperament of a gilted chick when he doesnt get his way. Boston was the perfect set up for him. Great coach, young players that played together and he messed that up about as much as anyone could.

it's true, but i think we're so desperate that we keep the kyrie door open anyway... as much as i would hate to have him on our team (lebron's already here, which i'm still coming to terms with), it is still better than striking out, maybe...
