The way DLo/BK won must win games down the stretch to make the playoffs was impressive and you can't hate on that. Plus if dude is high usage and loses, he deserves alot of the blame...but if they win, DLo should get alot of the credit!

I got no love for the Process. I hope DLo takes them out and the only burner, uh bummer is that they couldn't take on the cbags in the 1st round. I would have loved to see DLo hand the cbags a 1st round exit.

Honestly, this was a great ending to Russ's season. He shot like absolute s*** and the 76ers took away his offense. I'm really hoping it's a Kobe-like career-defining moment. Russ took the step in the regular season; it's now time to step it up in the postseason.

Russ shot 36.3% on FGs in the postseason, 32.4% on threes, and averaged only 3.6 assists per game - all way down from the regular season.

I also hope it does two other things - tempers his expectations for a max contract and makes him recommit to Brooklyn to get to the next level as a team.

Brooklyn could use Randle, honestly. An athletic 4 that could bully down low? If they can get out from Crabbe and add a solid SG, they’d be significantly improved.

not at all uncommon for young players to suffer in the postseason--particularly if they're the team's go-to guy. we might find out if the lakers ever make the playoffs again.

I think they’re going to let Russ field offers while they try to land a superstar. I think they’ll strike out there, match on Russ, and add someone like Randle. The Crabbe contract is the big thorn in their side, but with Russell, LeVert, Randle, and Allen, they can afford Crabbe in the starting lineup for a season until he expires. They could move up a couple spots next season and win the right matchup in the playoffs.

So much this. ^^^ Right after the 1A list guys. Durability, strength down low, scoring down low, beat you up down low. Starting to shoot 3 ball reasonably well and likely continues to get better. Julius works on his game and has improved every single year. 2-3 years still from start of his prime.

This is Mitchell's second run in the playoffs, too, but yeah. He's way down on all metrics.

Nets have the 17th pick, the 27th, and the 31st pick; essentially three first round talents are possible.

I haven't followed college b-ball this season, but I'd like to see them add a sniper, big man depth, and best available role player/contribute now guys. That would allow them to get through a season even if Crabbe stays and then let him walk.

Using Tankathon's mock draft, assuming they strikeout on stars:

    Russell/Dinwiddie/Napier
    Crabbe/Harris/Musa/Graham/Joshua Obiesie
    LeVert/Kurucz/Cameron Johnson
    Randle/Dudley?/PJ Washington
    Allen/Davis

They need another big. Maybe Dudley will come back. That's sixteen players, so something has to give. They also have rights to a French dude who looks good and athletic - a SG.

    Russell (21-7-4)/Dinwiddie (17-5-2)
    Crabbe (10-3-1)/Harris (14-4-2)
    LeVert (14-4-4)/Kurucz
    Randle (21-9-3)/PJ Washington
    Allen (11-8-1)/Davis (6-9-1)

    Decent firepower.

I'd love to see them land Randle. Julius and a stretch big for spot minutes would add a lot to that team.

Where's @D-Fish Man ? Come on Dude he's 2 seasons gone. Spill the beans. You were loyal and discreet. You can be thought of as an insider finally! :giggle:  Rather than just frustrating the s*** out of all of us that needs to know.

Meh, it was dumb, but it’s weed, what’s dumber is it still being illegal. The tweets are hilarious though.

LOL honest I was just coming back to say you know Nick Young gets a bad rap as far as allegedly being a bad influence on Russell. People don't realize some of the good things like teaching him "timing for contract negotiations". Yoda (Nick) finally gets a ring with 80 games played for the GS Warriors last year. FA time almost upon him announces to the world on line that he supports legalizing coke (whether you agree or not :)) ..... Bad move Nick! Finally winds up playing low bucks for Denver 4 games this year.

DAR ... 1st Big NBA contract negotiation upon him in couple of months and goes, "oh yeah .... Nick? ... Hold My Beer "
