I thought I'd put up a little poll. We have been drafting pretty high over the last few seasons. But I think a case could be made that our late picks might be just as good as our high draft picks. Going forward, if we could only keep either our two #2 picks (Ingram and Ball) or our two late steals (Kuz and Hart) which combo would you pick and why? Do not take salary into consideration. Just from a pure talent perspective, would you rather have Ingram/Ball or Hart/Kuz?

Ingram and Ball, they have higher ceilings than the other two in my opinion.

Choose. You must choose. I do this to my wife all the time. She says she doesn't have a favorite dog, so I tell her to picture both of them hanging off a cliff, but she'll only have time to save one. Which one did she immediately think of running to first? She hates it cause it forces her to admit to herself she does indeed have a favorite. :D

I was thinking about this the other day in a different way: what if the lakers had traded those three #2 overall picks for six or seven picks later in the 1st round?

Like I wanted to trade ball for fox/Collins at draft time. Apparently the lakers did too, and that would look brilliant right now with how those two have developed.

    Haha...

The moment I saw that orange smile, I knew that dude was pure evil.

BI/Zo trump Kuz/Hart based off potential...including trading potential.

Ingram and Ball's ceiling is much higher but they are going to take a couple years to tap into that potential. Kuzma already has the offensive talent and it to be an allstar in this league, it just comes down to consistency. Hart is someone you would love to have on any championship team and still getting better.

Kuz and Hart for me but this was a tough choice. One of those where you try and save both and end up losing both.

I gotta go with Zo and Ingram because they're much younger and have higher ceilings....Hart and Kuzma are both 23 years old going on 24...they SHOULD be as good as they are right now. Zo is only 21, Ingram only 21...talk to me when these guys are both 23/24 and let's see where they're at then...guaranteed they'll both be all stars by then

I dont believe the notion Hart/Kuzma are already as good as they SHOULD be....regardless of age its only their 2nd yr as pro's....ball/ingram have better potential but as of today, kuz/hart do more for the team in regards to production and fit.
