    Also even if this was true from this source/reporter why would KD say he's got his mind already made up. That's just a terrible idea assuming its true. A ton can happen in a year and for me to think that KD can't change his mind or how we play this year can change things good or bad.... I just think this is ridiculous to believe something like this this early.

    Where's vash? He gets the same suck it up with your dislike of the man if he's coming to the Lakers scolding that we LeBron deniers in the early days of realdeal's thread got from him about ignoring all the deuche aspects of LBJ if he was willing to come here.

    I think there is a good chance it happens. I didn't realize KD and LeBron were so close. I just heard a rap song they did together several years ago when KD was still with OKC.

    Today's NBA is so different today when compared to the era where guys wanted to prove themselves. Today, those guys just wanna play with their buddies.

    Btw, I don't think KD is a snake. I actually like him very much.

    I think KD and LeBron plus the Lakers young core scares the Warriors.

    My only other thought is why did KD wait until next year to do this? He was a free agent this summer as well and could have come here this summer if he wanted to.

    That’s the only reason why I’m skeptical about this report. He seemed pretty sure he wanted to play for the Warriors in July 2018. Did something change his mind drastically these past 2 months?

    I think the odds are likely that he stays in Golden State, BUT there are some very strong rumors that KD is not happy with his status up there behind Curry. It's possible he's more willing to accept that role with LeBron given LeBron's stature and the fact that LeBron's expiration date is approaching so Durant could be the face of the Lakers for a good while after LeBron is gone whereas Curry is still in his prime.

    I also think if Durant jumped ship from Golden State to LA, LA is going to immediately be the best team in the league. They'd have the two best players in the league and a handful of young, star potential talent.

    I am very, very skeptical about this move, but I also think the chances are better than people assume.

    But they are Not Alike.

    One made burner accounts battling the average Joe just cause he was called a cupcake, while the other got the N word spray-painted on his gate and proceeded to troll the neighborhood by buying another house there.

    One was up 3-1 on the defending champs, choked the lead and then proceeds to go join them, while the other said f*** joining a super team when I could just make my own in Miami and go up against those cbags.

    Yall can hate on Bron all you want, but all I'm doing is pointing out hate that imho is either weak or unwarranted. Who you think you are (Kelly), clowning dude's beard....really? f*** the beard, that type of hate is weird.

    Still, I wouldn't mind KD on the Lakers as long as it means titles. I'm about them rings boss...I've been consistent with that as my motive.

    As for you, I hope you remain consistent in your fascination with facial hair...just make sure not to tweet directly @him to "talk about it."

    GC, I can’t believe you don’t have something to share about KD. I’m probably in the minority here but I really like the guy. Is he a little insecure? Yeah, but so is LeBron. I think the bright lights do that to some people. But man, I love watching that guy play.

    My son's basketball coach told us to watch KD perform this subtle move that helps him get off his jumper... KD does it like 10 times a game. Just so surgical and fun to watch!

    @Big Mamma Jamma I like Durant's game as a great scorer and currently a very good defender. I don't care much for his off the court issues on social media. Laughable actually. Now having said those...I just can't get myself to comment on another story. We had George...we now have the Leonard waiting game and now Durant? Sure speculation is fun but really it is what it is. Sure I'd welcome Durant in the fold but I do think he stays with Golden State...

    I mean this is just crazy **** with two life long rivals teaming up? Improbable to even think it.

    Butler on the other hand could be a real possibility...no pun intended to the thread starter. :)

    We had 2max spots this summer, secured LABron with one of them and still dude chose to re-up with the dubs at less than his potential max.

    If he wanted to team up with Bron, this was the summer to do it in. Why wait a whole year?

    Hey, if he signs next summer cool...but I prefer Kawhi over him and it's not even close.

    Trade a combo of kids for AD...
    Sign Kawhi, Bulter or KD (probably in that order) with our cap...
    Win...

    I love Kawhi but if you can get KD you get KD all day every day. He and Lebron are number one and two in the league and which one is which is debatable. Two best players in the game? Yeah, I'll roll with that.

    But if Kawhi can show he's healthy, to me he's number three. That ain't bad either!

    Bottom line we've got options and possibilities this coming summer that are pretty mind-blowing. Thank you Magic and Rob! And thanks Jeannie too!
