    This is a guy I used to work with. Fellow counselor in OKC. He used to work with a lot of famous people who made it big (The Roots, Chrisette Michele). He turned his counseling degree and love for Hip Hop into a job working with kids in after-school programs and in juvenile detention centers. He trains the kids to create rap, poetry, art, dance, and they create a performance, based on what the kids want to do. Really cool stuff. Anyway, this is a song he did. He has a new one, but I like this one the most.

    I've been listening to Gambino's entire new mixtape but a lot of it is blocked on YouTube so I'll post the single. As a Gambino fan, it's a cool project but probably not much more than that.

    ^Love that second beat on that one. He is a really good rapper, but I honestly hate saying or typing out his name :p:D

    Yup, just came out last week. The whole project is called STN MTN / KAUAI.

    STN MTN is a free mixtape that's supposed to be like a DJ Drama Gangsta Grillz type of joint. It's kinda like Royalty. It has a lot of mainstream songs and he even seems to be going with a Drake flow on a lot of it.

    KAUAI is an EP available for purchase (but obviously you can find it for free on the internet lol) that sounds a lot more like Because the Internet. It's a lot more laid back with an R&B vibe where Gambino is actually singing.

    Nice....I skimmed through BTI a few times and didn't find it as listenable as I wanted. Gonna check out the new stuff.

    Question - have you heard Gambino's compilation titled "The Great Gambino"?

    I don't think it's a dedicated mixtape - rather a compilation of his mixtape stuff into a super mixtape about 18ish songs.

    Best stuff I've heard from him. Solid 9/10. Search for the track listing and let me know if you know those tracks. Definitely worth a download.

    ^ A lot of the tracks on that compilation were on some of his earlier mixtapes that I've listened to, but I'll definitely check out the ones that I haven't!

    Lately I've been listening to a lot of the new projects from Flying Lotus and Vince Staples
