I thought everyone hated this show. I'm pretty pumped for it myself. It was good last season IMO, and looks better this season
Last season was great, this season looks to be awesome. I can already feel like it's going to be more action.
I never read the comics, and did not watch it for the first 3 seasons. One night I watched an episode and just kept watching. I caught up during one of the repeat marathons. It will be interesting to see how it develops without the Governor as the foil.
im curious to see where they're going with it as they've veered away from the comic storyline. i was starting to lose faith a bit but the end of last season was pretty good. hoping they keep it up with the new season, the previews i've seen are certainly encouraging
Wow. I was so disappointed in this show after Season 3. But the new showrunner has earned my trust. It took a while for him to turn things around after the situation he was set up with, but ever since he got them out of the prison in Season 4, this show has been everything I wished it was. It's honestly probably the best show on television right now. I don't know where they're going this season, but after four seasons I finally care about all the characters. This show has finally found the perfect combination of crazy zombie action, relatable characters, and a unique setting. Also, they're doing a great job at subverting expectations. I haven't read the comics, but I've heard from a lot of people who have. Before this premiere aired, everyone in the cast was telling the media how dark of an episode this was and how gruesome the first few minutes are. It was bad, but clearly most of us who read that expected a main character to die. Spoiler In the comics, apparently Glen gets his head bashed in with a bat like he was about to be multiple times in the beginning of this episode. They were clearly toying with our expectations of that scene to go down, and it added so much more tension to the scene. But DAT POST CREDITS SCENE! Spoiler Please write it so that Morgan ends up joining the main group!
who was the dead guy on the table being drilled on in the beginning? they showed his face like 3 times making me think I was dsupposed to recognize him.
I'm not sure if he was anyone, BUT.... Spoiler: PENGUIN The first guy to get killed, the blonde one, well Rick and Carol ran into him and his girlfriend during a run for supplies. He's also The Penguin on Gotham.
