Yeah he has a hole in one from a lucky, sideways, up there with luckiest......bounce ever, but as well you see him tee it, follow the ball and come to the conclusion this is the world's shortest "par 4". Well bleep, OK.....I can't or shouldn't broad brush what other's opinions might be. They're like .....well you know the saying......what they're like. This was my opinion. [IMG]

Aussie pro makes a par-4 hole-in-one you just have to see
By Ryan Ballengee8 hours agoDevil Ball Golf

It's not every day that you see a par-4 hole-in-one.

In fact, it's happened only once in the history of the PGA Tour -- and that was thanks to a ricochet off another player's putter. The break that gave Andrew Magee an ace at the par-4 17th at TPC Scottsdale in 2001, however, seems like nothing compared to the bounce Richard Greengot Tuesday in Australia.

The 43-year-old was playing in the pro-am for the Oates Vic Open at host Thirteenth Beach Golf Links when he arrived to the par-4 15th. Typically around 390 yards on the card, the tees were moved back for the pros. Green blasted a drive toward the green, which landed short and appeared headed for the greenside bunker. However, when it lands in the bunker, it rolls around and catches an amazing, unseen bounce out of the sand and right into the cup.

It's not every day that you see a par-4 hole-in-one.

Green didn't see the ball go in, but from the cheering of a single fan greenside, he knew he'd done something special.

“I couldn’t see it but we heard sort of a bit of noise up here and someone was cheering,” Green said. “I didn’t think it was in the hole or anything, but that’s unbelievable.”

Hopefully that's not a sign that he used up all his best shots before the tournament starts.

In the last 1,874 days since Tiger’s last win:
    - 239 PGA Tour Events
    - 119 different players won on the PGA Tour
    - 44 official starts
    - 9 missed cuts
    - 4 major surgeries (April 2014 - Back Surgery, Sept. 2015 - Back Surgery, April 2017 - Back Surgery)

Today, a champion again winning his 80th PGA Tour event (3 away from breaking the record of 82). What a comeback, what a competitor, and what a feeling. Never seen the crowd run up to a player like that and chant a player name since Ben Hogan. How lucky we all are to witness greatness again in our lifetime from the one and only Tiger Woods! Ahh the memories of old...

I watched a bunch of the tournaments leading up to this one, but missed this one.

Before his big problem would be stumbling on 2-3 holes and then pressing to finish. I'm glad he finally got one.

Now go get a Major or 4.

Tiger. Woods. 2019 Masters Champion. It’s been almost 11 years since I sat in front of my little 32” Sony LCD TV and watched Tiger win a major.

It was an incredible final round. Tiger needed to be rock solid and Molinari needed to choke and both happened. Koepka also could have been in a playoff with Tiger most likely had he birdied 18 and he was just off.

This shot allowed him to make birdie and go to -14, 2 shot lead, essentially won him the Masters, after he had just went up 1 with a birdie on the previous hole too, it was glorious
