Well you can have this many kids if they are talented enough.

We have an underachieving young core. BI is in his 3rd season and still looks like he is not comfortable...still weak, shot still sucks, still the same player.

Lonzo...can't do much either to carry this team. Shows no passion, can't score at all, sucks azz at shooting, shoots 42% on FTs...FOURTY TWO PERCENT...

And the rest isn't much better either.

pretty sure we'd offer all youth for davis and the offer would be politely declined.

with you on the possibility of getting george or leonard, though. leonard was probably not happening (though we didn't make a real effort), but george was definitely doable.

anyway, again, not sure they have much value anymore, so best to pray for dramatic improvement.

Some teams can make superior offers . Even if AD says : it's Lakers or nothing , teams will take their chances like OKC and Raptors did with PG13 and Leonard .

Let's be realistic here it's not happening

right. and structuring our future around its possibility is some 2012 dallas mavericks stuff. i feel like time and again we've seen that it's better to have good players than cap space (because good players can always be traded into cap space if necessary).

the thing you can't do is mozdeng. but trading for allstar level players is never bad unless they're old.

Like it's better to sell the house to get a 2nd star then worry about your lack of depth instead of keeping all the young players + cap space.

Miami didn't have trouble to adress its depth pbs after the 2010-2011 season ....

Maginka is learning but let's say the timing is less than ideal with Bron probably only having this season and the next one left at his current level .

If AD says Lakers or bust, it will blow up in his face. The league works together to purposely not help the Lakers. Anthony Davis has a year and a half to call the shots with no PR issues, not headache and no owners or league officials trying to destroy the Lakers in a deal.

Lakers have Lebron James, they will make the playoffs and this team will start to get that experience. Then, in 18 months, if the Lakers can't get Kawhi this summer, they have the opening to get AD. I think AD is very smart and will not talk and get himself in any trouble. He will likely wait til free agency in 2020 and then it's on. That's the best move for everything. Do not demand anything.

Why do we shoot free throws like we are Superman and the ball is made of Kryptonite?

Noooooo.... BLopez is goat and Jules on his best day = smush.
Btw. We suck without Rondo and Bron, Kuz is nothing but offense, ZO can't shoot for s***, BI reacts to slow and hasn't progressed at all and Hart can't even get a high five.
Won't even mention Luke and his staff.

That first quarter had the most stagnant offense I’ve seen from this Laker team. That was awful to watch.

We aren’t winning a lot of games with this kind of shooting. We missed an opportunity to get some breathing space between us and Utah.
